Chance Each Playoff Contender Loses Another Game (FPI)

Tennessee was #1 they lost by 14 on the road to Georgia (the now #1) Tennessee moved 4 spots down to 5th.

You seriously think if Michigan were to lose to OSU they don’t move at all?

If TCU loses Tennessee is 3rd.

I'm just updating what happened Week 11, superimposed over my review of all the possibilities remaining at the end of week 10.

Michigan at 11-1 worries me, yes, for a number of reasons. As does USC at 12-1 and TCU at 12-0. I'd probably guess it goes like this, but the 3-6 spots are fluid:

1. GA at 13-0
2. OSU at 13-0
3. TCU at 13-0 (but I think they lose once)
4. USC at 12-1. ( but they might well lose once more)
5. UT at 11-1
6. Michigan at 11-1 (but they could get ranked above UT)
7. Clemson at 12-1.

The loser of the Mich/Oh State game drops to 5th or 6th. The winners best win, will be the other..... the losers best win will be a top 15 win vs Penn State (who has 0 ranked wins!)

Clemson losing by 21 to an unranked at the time ND... they are out. ACC currently has 0 top 10 teams. (Clemson 10)

TCU wins out... and they are in. (Big 12 is super trash though)

1 Loss Pac 12 Champ USC... probably in. (They would potentially end the year with 3 straight top 20 wins. Hard to argue against that. Also USC has 1 loss on the season, to the only ranked opponent they've faced, Utah..... the team Florida beat. )

The deal as it stands right now:

1.) GA
2.) OSU/Mich winner
3.) USC/TN
4.) TCU

5.) OSU/MICH loser or TN if USC wins out
6.)BAMA

Need USC to drop 1 of the next 3.

Michigan has laid an egg in the playoffs time after time. UCLA lost which further muddies up the PAC-10. USC lost its top running back for the season but if they win out - will be a top threat. TCU may not lose - they looked super vs. Texas.

They've been to the playoff one time.... How have they laid an egg "in the playoffs time after time"?
