Chaney and Pitman to UGA

Mike Debord doesn't have Drew Breeze, your logic thrown back at you and how has he done without Drew Breeze? Look what Dan Enos did with Brandon Allen in one year, compare that to what Debord did in one year at UT by improving the offense by nearly 100%. Now, compare that to what Pitt's offensive numbers were before Chaney got there to what they are now 381 ypg total offense and 186 yards rushing in 2015; 435 ypg total offense and 249 yards rushing in 2014. Nearly the entire offense returned from the year before at Pitt.

Except their 1800 yard, 26 TD rusher from 2014 was injured the first game of the season after only 8 carries. Other than that it's the exact same offense with a true FR at RB.

He could not develop a qb at Arky but did an ok job with Peterman at Pitt of course we are talking about the same guy that recruited/coached Matt Simms, Justin Worley, Nash Nance, and Nathan Peterman

Chaney is a good OC. But wouldn't have been a good fit for Jones offense. Pittman was a loss. Not keeping Pittman was the biggest mistake Jones made.

I can keep going:

2012
UK v UT- 457 total yards and 164 yards rushing
2011
UK v UT- 276 total yards and 61 yards rushing, impressive
2010
UK v UT- 430 total yards and 76 yards rushing

2012
UV v UT- 303 total yards, 149 yards rushing
2011
UV v UT- 290 total yards, 101 yards rushing again impressive
2010
UV v UT- 360 total yards, 128 yards rushing

2015
UK v UT- 482 total yards, 249 yards rushing
VU v UT- 523 total yards, 331 yards rushing

again not even close, let's keep playing

Dobbs would look like an idiot in Chaney's system nor would he even be here, but look on the bright side would could have had Peterman for 3 more years and beaten no one. Not only that, the board could savor the joy of not having to worry about running the ball too much or at all.

9-4 Vandy's vs 2-10 & 4-8 Vandy's.

Raijon Neal and Marlin Lane vs Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara.

2011 Bray missed 5 games and Hunter missed 9.5. I'm sure it had no bearing on the season and stats. Amazing how coaches are better when the talent is better.

Pittsburgh offense was better statistically with Voytik

2015 Peterman

Completions Attempts Yards TDsINTs Rating Rush
167 266 2008 18 4 145.5 77-206

2014 Voytik
176 287 2233 16 7 140.2 108-466(3tds)

Voytik had 485 more total yards and 1 more TD

Last year Pitt averaged 435 and 31.8 points per game
this year they average 386 and 28.6

There's a better QB out there than Peterman??

Sam Pittman a desperation hire? He is without question the best Asst coach in all of football. Period
And all Chaney has done is improve the offensive out put by a huge margin in his stops.

Chaney is a desperation hire. Seriously he must've been 3rd or 4th on the list. Tyler Bray was woefully unprepared for the NFL. Also he isn't a recruiting juggernaut. It's a weak hire for UGA

Don't you think the talent an oc has to work with has a little bit to do with those stats. Chaney did not have a Hurd or Kamara in the backfied during his time at TN.

Who's fault is that?

Butch didn't inherit either Hurd or Kamara.

Best argument against Chaney is 2011 Kentucky loss.

How in the hell do you get beaten by Kentucky with a WR at QB?

Kentucky 10
Tennessee 7

Good luck UGA

You're unreal - you defend/tout Kiffin & Chaney like you owe them money.

And you blast anyone that's not on staff now, as if no one else is successful at their profession.

It was well known that Bray had strep throat the week of the UK game and it was debated whether or not Worley should have started/played.

Somebody needs to tell Vanderbilt they were 9-4 in 2011 and 2010, and now it has become clear. Chaney will be a great OC if he has a future NFL hall of fame qb, a dominating o-line, 2 stud rb's, a great wr corp, a coach who likes him, everyone is 100% healthy, and the other team has no pulse on defense. It makes sense to me.
