The D was over by the beginning of the 4th quarter. I agree with you about most of what you wrote, why because that is what I saw last year.

They did not play that way tonight... they were getting burned late in the game with tight man and man, the slants... and then the deep ball.

The D was done... Peterson wasn't even in the game well over half the time. They were still playing press coverage, look guys if you think I lying you can go back and listen to the announcers.

Sorry your Defense is probably going to have a hard time keeping a team from scoring if your offense only gets 11 first downs. Eventually the get worn down.

YOU DID NOT WATCH THE GAME. We actually were blitzing... if you did not see that then you did not watch the game... we had 5 sacks... trust me we were not getting that last year.

Rewind the game, watch as the D played press.

We don't have to read - we KNEW what 3rd Down Chavis would do when the chips were on the line. Now, you should know what he will do in the future when you have a lead. Just remember, we warned you and you heard it right here.

The only one with 'learning disability' is your defensive coordinator. Time after time after time after time after time he will try his best to give the game away.

Chavis has a way of making his defenses look done at the end of close games. You sound like a guy with a new girlfriend telling all the guys that used to nail her that she's different this time.

We aren't retards. We've watched Chavis's shiat for FIFTEEN YEARS. Your defense will look great until the game is on the line, and then they will fold up like a cheap map. This is what he does.

If you are up 30 to 10 in the 4th, you win. I don't care if you take a knee every time you get the ball, you are going to have to try to lose that game, and the only way you can do that is on defense. Your offense is done for the night.

Yes, we had a team of inmates headed by that rogue outlaw coach Phillip Fulmer. Chavis had his back covered by Phil and the Good Ole Boy network.

If you made us take back one of the following: Fulmer, Chavis and Kiffin I think most would take back Kiffin. Hey, we're glad you have Chavis. You're glad you have him. We're both happy then.

There's no question that LSU's pathetic offense and horrible coaching put their defense in a crummy position tonight. But once they were in that position -- and this is the key point that our Corndog brother cannot seem to understand -- Chavis reacted in a predictably stupid way. I'm just a dumbass on his couch, and I knew exactly how Chavis was going to play it for the last drive. And he did, and he should have lost.

I will grant that it took TN fans awhile to figure out that Chavis was nowhere near as good as his defenses' rankings indicated. LSU fans are only a year into this. It's going to take a few years' worth of maddening fourth quarter losses to figure how annoyingly crappy he really is.

I actually agree with most of what you said, it was irrelevant in this game. You are not going to hold a lead if your offense has 11 1st downs and 4 in the 2nd half with turnovers unless you play a HS down the street. Sorry it's not going to happen.

All you had to do is watch the Florida game today... Florida's D was dominating as well, so what... offense didn't do anything until 10 minutes to go in the game.

If Chavis hadn't brought three, dropped eight, and been soft along the sidelines on that last drive, then you wouldn't have been in a position where one good throw on the last two plays would have cost you the game. Regardless of how badly your offense played in the 2nd half. But that's how Chavis ALWAYS PLAYS IT. As I said, Chavis should be in the dictionary next to "definition of insanity."

It's ludicrous that an LSU fan would have amnesia about the 2006 Tennessee game. Remember how all Russell had to do was dunk it down the field twelve yards at a time until he was in position to win? That's your guy now.
