The fall portal timing is the problem. Players have to transfer now if they want to be at a new school for the spring semester.

Not that they really care about starting classes lol, but the rules are in place because theoretically they are still “student” athletes.

Nimrod is the WR that the local media bragged about during the Summer and Fall camp. “Experts” like Austin Price said he looked great.

Followed that up with 10 catches and 0 TDs this year, despite multiple other WRs on the team going down with injuries. Dropped a perfect pass over the middle when wide open that he should have caught/run for a long TD (against UK I think).

Nothing against Nimrod. I fully support him as a Vol. Just jaded by the preseason hype from pseudo experts in the media.
