$3.11 today in Knoxville. In late January, in Utah, I was paying $2.85. I went to Montana the first of February and the price was the same. Over the next two months, it rose to $3.35. For no reason that I can figure other than oil companies needed more profits. I'll be surprised if it doesn't magically increase to around $3.60 by early June.

I remember diesel being .85 and gas being .89 a gallon when I was a teenager. 1.25 a gallon most my adult life till 9/11.

But was 1.80 a gallon about 5 years ago.
