Its Obama's plan and it is sound. What reason do you have to believe he doesn't want this situation? Because he is black and a liberal? Or just because your republican Daddy said so?
Give us some details on this "sound" plan. How does he intend to get the job done? Specifics please.

didn't sound sincere enough?

do I need to try it again?

Lets just give it an E for effort and let it slide. Just this once. The strippers were not convinced but what the hell, I'm sure their used to disappointment at this stage in their life.

First of all, explain this statment. Then show me anywhere in his documented plans where he states he is going to give a check to the 40% who don't pay taxes.

he said he is going to give a tax break to 95% of Americans. however, there is around 40% of Americans that don't pay taxes. he want to redistribute money to them. he wants to give them the a tax cut, even though they don't pay taxes. that is a sound plan.

I thought the sign off added an air of sincerity that would resonate with everyone, even the future folks I offend.

Is it because you say so or Obama says so?

I am just stating his plan and what he said he wanted to do as President. This is documented. What makes you think he wants more people on welfare? Any of you have a good answer? Don't you think he might want to get re-elected? YOu think putting more people on welfare is going to get him re-elected? Obama may be foolish, inexperienced, etc...but he isn't some dumbazz. Along with Clinton, he is likely to be one of our most brilliant presidents to date. Lets just see how it plays out before we start bashing him. I will be the first one if he starts ******* everything up

I can tell you the headliner Bobbie whatever-her-name-was at the Last Chance Saturday night after the game would not have been offended by any comments in this thread.

His commentary on economic justice and the fact that he believes everyone is better off when those at the bottom have some too. Surely you heard the senseless "bottom up" economy comments?

Pretending that he won't garner votes by giving away more money is one of the most senseless things I've ever heard.

I'm shocked that you tried to pretend you're a conservative anything.

he is creating a new voting block. he's creating a voting block that will not pay taxes but will get a government check. yes, people will accept that.

if you've read any exerpts from his book, he's determined to make this a socialist country. what so scary is wait until he start appointing judges that too believe in "economic and social justice" it will extremely bad.

I think people getting off welfare is completely up to those on welfare. Obama will have little to no effect on that, period.

I don't know that i would call Clinton one of the best presidents of all time. He was a good president but much of that was because he was kept in check by the repub majority. To pretend that Obama is in the same mold as Clinton is pretty funny, not to mention the fact that he'll have a super majority, not good news!

Read the post, KB. I said brilliant, in a context of intelligence and using it to form a political strategy that, in the end, works for most everyone. I didn't say it in a context of "best" president.

My apologies.

Just enough of what he wanted to do was canceled out by the repubs, once again because of the majority. Almost every good president has this in common. I'd call him politically savvy, not brilliant. I leave brilliant to the great minds of our time.

I have decided to call myself a liberal conservative because I don't care about social issues for the most part.

Now you and I are essentially on in the same.

Count me in, that is three of us.

Now I can start calling every one stupid hillbilly hicks that can't read!
