Chicago War Zone

Stats mean nothing without some comparison or baseline. With such it becomes an supportable argument.
The stats on Chicago as compared to their current gun laws indicate many of the shootings occurred by people ignoring their strict gun laws. You’re welcome.

Inner city blacks

If suburban whites are able to be surrounded by guns, why can't inner city blacks?
Shouldn't the aim be to bring up the inner city instead of penalizing those outside of it?
The battle must be fought on many fronts.

And yet the stats in Chicago may indicate that stricter gun laws work to some degree.
Ok you are looking Luther sad here. You’ve done nothing but off whataboutism generalities that others have responded to and countered. And you double down on this.

I believe you started with the IL per capita rate being lower than X? Which was countered by Alaska? You pointed to NYC. I believe it was @hog88 who countered with a “not so fast”? I don’t remember seeing did you ever respond back to those while sticking to your original statement or did you change to other “whatabout” points?

Comparisons are hardly whatabout points. It is what gives stats context. Without them you are just an ass with an opinion. I have answered everything I have seen. You just happen to be stubbornly sticking to your "I believe it" argument which is statistically worthless.

You are essentially telling me, "I know Chicago is a cesspool because I can look at the statistics. I don't need any baseline. I just know." What I am saying is that chicago is a cesspool of violence when compared to what?
Chicago is a cesspool when compared to 95% of US cities.
Are we really having this conversation?

Inner city (BLACK) crime is an affliction that America has been suffering from since the 1960's.

No amount of money thrown at the problem will stop it.

Every city that has a large black population will have a high crime rate, no matter if the leaders are Republicans or democrats.

I would love to see you back that up with stats. I was surprised to find Chicago had less violent crime/gun crime per capita than many other cities. With all you see in the news, i expected way different.

Just like the argument I make about cops. I don't think all cops are corrupt, just too damn many.

I don't think all people in the inner city are corrupt, but far too many are.

Or laws. It’s a cultural issue nobody wants to talk about and certain parties fuel their victimhood with bs racism scapegoats only making it worse.

You’ve been playing whataboutism in this whole thread. Own it.

The focus is Chicago. Strict gun laws yet high murder rates. How is that working? Ask Rahm Emmanuel how it worked out for him. It peaked in 2016 went down in 17 and 18 and is on par to blow thru 2016 now? And I believe the cutline on the city ranking was populations over 100,000? Ridiculous.

Oh btw did you ever address those counters or just ignore them?

You fix the inner city situation with blacks and you fix the problem. Liberal entitlement programs and feminism have turned the black community into a matriarchal war zone.

The Europeans who traveled to the African nations hundreds of years ago to trade with them noted in their journals of their visits how badly the men treated their women.
