There is violence for sure in Dallas. However that isn’t an argument I remember making. What do they call that again? Straw... something ?
Draw your own comparison. In fact you already have. You are essentially telling me, "I know Chicago is a cesspool because I can look at the statistics. I don't need any baseline. I just know." What I am saying is that chicago is a cesspool of violence when compared to what?
They do count these as mass shootings when it’s convenient. Every drive by or public shooting is considered “mass” when it fits the narrative. His son was killed in the worst shooting of Chicago’s most violent weekend. He ‘just happened to be one of them’
Aug. 6, 2018: 74 people shot, 12 fatally, in Chicago over the weekend
The same weekend as massacres in El Paso and Dayton, 15 people were shot in 2 Chicago incidents. Why aren’t those called mass shootings too?
56 people were shot in Chicago over the weekend, including four fatally
Looks like it’s getting plenty of coverage

Points at cow. “That is a cow.”
“Compared to what? That horse over there?”
“No not compared to anything. It’s just a cow.”
Just like Chicago is a cesspool
Oh I’d call it a fact but you will just reject it because you have to compare to something to make your whataboutism arguments. You cannot arrive at any real conclusions using your method.
Your opinion doesn't carry much weight, but you've made your point, "in your opinion, chicago is a cesspool."

Walks like a duck
Quacks like a duck
Looks like a duck
Must be a cessp... er duck!
Still focusing on only guns eh? Ok.
I’m not having as much fun anymore. Your argument is boring.
Actually I believe our current exchange started by me pointing out you were using whataboutism is trying to prove your statements? Argument seems a bit too strong a word here.Any deaths works fine for me, but we were talking about how gun control doesn't work. Seems advisable to maintain a bit of focus. Anyhoo, my arguments are unchanged. You are still left with your opinion and you haven't yet explained why that is trustworthy.
