The media is so ignorant. The 6 o'clock news told everything but the story. Nothing but assumptions and presumptions. Heaven forbid people are showing up because of the constitution. I'm a Christian, but thinking that everyone who goes to ChikFilA today is supporting their views is just stupid.
I don't know if I would say that. Cathy simply having those views isn't going to compel people to make astatement by going there, but I wouldn't expect people who disagree with his views to still make that kind of statement simply as a show of support for a constitutional right.
The only people who I think would otherwise go out of their way to visit ChikFilA when they normally wouldn't are those who are simply curious about the turnout, therefore increasing it even more.

Is everybody else's facebook blowing up about this stuff? It's crazy.
The whole thing is ridiculous on both sides. This support of free speech excuse is silly bc no one has said the CEO does not have the right to say what he did. Just because you have the right to say something stupid doesn't mean you can't suffer bad PR for it. And let's be honest, is the best way to show support for free speech to go eat a meal of saturated fat?
Now the kiss in thing is just as silly, probably more so. If you truely feel that passionate about it, just don't eat there.
I may be wrong, but a big part of what happened yesterday was due to the mayor of Boston and Rahm Emmanuel saying that Chik-fil-a would no longer be welcome in their respective cities.
Experiencing bad PR for what you say is one thing, having a mayor unilaterally decide that your business isn't welcome in his city is another.
The excuse that this is about free speech is silly. No one has said he can't make stupid statements. He has the legal right to say he hates Jews too but does that make it "right".How, exactly, is the free speech thing silly?
You repeated your earlier comment and then said something stupid. Congrats. The excuse that this is about free speech is silly. No one has said he can't make stupid statements. He has the legal right to say he hates Jews too but does that make it "right".
If his statement had been about supporting segregation would these free speech advocates be turning out in droves to eat some fried chicken sandwiches?
