We all knew this was supposed to be a 8-4 season, we all knew our defense would catch up with us at some point. 2 years ago we wasn’t bowl eligible, we beat FL , we beat Bama. If we finish next week at candy this has been an extremely successful season. What we seen last night is a horrific defense that has been sheltered by a great offense get exposed. Nothing more, coaches didn’t forget how to coach, it just finally caught up with us. We are 2 years ahead of schedule and the future looks bright. It sucks to lose to SCjr but that is what makes the SEC the best conf in the nation. Chill out people and be thankful for where we are compared to where we was.

Yeah that makes me feel better about having 63 hung on the score board against an unranked team!

I am a posivol but there must be accountability. I get we do not have great talent on defense but that does not excuse being out of position over and over again.
Did any of you crybabies actually watch the game last night? USCjr's execution was near perfection. Rattler's passes were spot on, his receivers got open, he found them and he hit them. Yes, we were flat, but they played a damned good game.

I like most of what you said, but what we witnessed last night was not what our team or even our DEFENSE has been or shown all year! There was no fight in anyone, including the coaching staff. If this us our protected defense getting exposed, who was it that shut down LSU and Kentucky the whole game, or Georgia and Missouri in the 2nd half after making the proper adjustments? Something stunk like yesterdays diapers and it wasn’t something any of us could see coming. GO VOLS

To be fair, you and I spend a lot of time on here, and yet I don’t recognize half the people posting today.

I think it’s more trolls than children
Probably. I guess there is some perverse sense of pleasure in that kind of posting. I personally don't get it, but it takes all kinds to make the world go around.

That’s the part no one is talking about. Within every game variance in outcomes occurs. Every play they hit could’ve been a drop, batted down at the line, an overthrow, etc. deep shots are often called 50/50 balls for a reason. But last night they kept calling heads and it kept landing on hands. Sometimes that happens. Especially when you have a highly talented Qb.

C'mon man, give everyone a chance to decompress! It's still raw, and the disappointment over what possibly slipped away is still way too fresh. Let everyone vent and get it out now, and by late in the week the reality of what an incredible season this was will sink in. After we beat Vandy (and we will beat Vandy), only nega-vols not worth paying attention to anyway will attempt to knock what is a huge step forward for the program and a season full of incredible memories.
