Lets ask ourselves..why now?

Political diversion from the national issues? I dont believe for one second the media narrative that Biden is upset with her trip and announced it. It was approved.

I think this an FU of some sort to CCP support for Russia in Ukraine.

In this internet age we think we know ****..we dont know anything
Testing the idiot in chief’s resolve. It’s been clear since his installment he’s in over his head. Xi has seen the 💩 show that is Ukraine. So kick the cockroach nest and see what happens.

Tesla Signs Battery Deals with Two Suppliers in Communist China

Tesla has signed battery material supply deals with two companies in Communist China, according to recent filings. The supply deals are further evidence of Elon Musk’s cozy relationship with the Communist dictatorship.

Electrek reports that Tesla has secured battery material supply deals with two large Chinese companies in a move that will ensure battery supply to support its electric vehicle production remains active for years to come.

Batteries are in high demand at the moment as automakers looking to move into the electric vehicle business scramble to secure as much supply as possible as it will impact how many vehicles they can produce.

Tesla has been expanding its operations in China for some time now and is working on building further roots in the country. Breitbart News has previously reported on Tesla’s close ties to China and Elon Musk’s praise of the communist country.

Oh gee, so China wouldn't launch anything, it would only be us? Brain dead idiots like you make me worry about the future of our country.

What in the world brought you to that conclusion?

Who said anything about China not striking first? Then you call me brain dead??

What do you think? MAD isn't just a theory.
Actually that's ALL it is right now.

China doesn't even have the most nukes IN Asia.
Not to mention our Air, Sea, and Space defense system is far more sophisticated than anyone else's.

China showed their big bad "Aircraft Carrier Killer " hypersonic delivery missile and Pelosi literally came there right after knowing we would send the 7th fleet and "other" assets.

What does that tell you?
Perhaps the THEORY of MAD is exactly just that?

I recall "experts" that were playing war games simulating a Russian attack saying that we would be defeated in such a scenario. How does that look now? I guess I should look on the bright side knowing that hopefully these BS scenarios will hopefully drive our military to be even better.

These scenarios can really be narrowed down to one simple combat sport- American boxing. It's just my opinion mostly.
I do have military service under my belt. I did have a "secret" clearance. Not TOP secret. So I know first hand what we had 15 years ago. I also still have friends in service or other capacities of government that are much more privy to info than I was with my clearance.

But from what I've observed since my service as a youngster and the wide game of world chess that countries play- the United States loves to feign weakness.
You know who else did that? Floyd Mayweather Jr. Everyone just KNEW Pacman would destroy him. But when they met....

People will say well they were too old! Pacman is younger than Floyd haha. I'm a huge pacman fan, but I always knew he would lose to Floyd. Because Floyd is a calculating attacker that focuses on defense first. Our defense is our knowledge and numbers (allies and other resources)

One of China's defense staff is a woman and she made an astute observation of the US government. She called us "gansters"; After Pelosi landed in Taipei. She's 100 percent correct.

What makes gangs dangerous? Numbers and variety. China is boasting and parading their artillery all the time. And im sure there's stuff they haven't publically shown...and I'm also sure the US knows exactly what it is.
And they would share that info when necessary to their allies.

Can US beat China 1 v 1? I absolutely believe that. But why do that when you can have them implode from within, while other countries close in.

To me when even considering a real war vs the Chicoms, there is a question nobody yet knows the answer to which is the elephant in the room due to the deterrent effect of MAD:

Can either or both nuclear armed countries refrain from using nuclear weapons once actual shots are fired and real casualties occur?

We do not yet know the answer. There was a little skirmish at the China/India disputed border in the remote mountain section of both countries recently in which maybe a couple dozen folks total were killed, but most of that even was hand to hand combat and each side exercized great restraint perhaps bc they are next door neighbors. This is not similar to a US /china declared war though when the 2 countries are half a world apart and have the 2 largest militaries on Earth. I will try to be brief then about both possible scenarios as follows:

1. No nukes (believe this is highly unlikely) i think with conventional weapons the outcome would be decided mostly by logistics and technology. The US is much better in both areas, but China has nearly endless population to take those losses as we destroyed all the high value targets such as mil bases, power plants, airstrips and ports, factories etc. We could bomb them back to the stone age while sustaining moderate damage here as well...but that would just leave a billion angry hate filled chinese wanting us all dead for generations...complete victory and surrender likely impossible.

2. Nuclear attacks begin shortly after the 1st planes and ships are destroyed and real casualties start piling up. Most likely scenario IMO...and there is no nation on planet Earth that could EVER defeat the US this way. Not since the fall of the USSR. Biggest reason? We keep about a dozen (minimum) nuclear armed subs underwater 24/7/365 in strategic positions off the coasts of China and Europe...a couple hundred miles or less from the 2 countries we consider dangerous. EACH sub carries approx 30 Trident nuclear armed cruise missiles similar to the Tomahawks we saw used to devastating effects in the gulf war...cruise missiles that are nearly impossible to shoot down because unlike aircraft, they can fly at low altitudes and several mach with a tiny radar signature and very short time-to-target flights. EACH of these Trident warheads has many times the destructive force of what was dropped on Hiroshima or Nagasaki....and they can be launched quickly. In theory a single sub could destroy every major city in China, and having them right off the coast means that we could have nukes hitting targets in China before their ICBMs could reach the mainland US. We don't just have 1 or 2 of these subs on constant patrol though...we admit to having a dozen or so of them always at sea for months a time. Subs are just 1/3 of our nuclear triad along with our InterContinental Ballistic Missiles in silos across the country and pf course our bombers stationed in strategic places like Incirlik, Turkey and Alaska which also have nuclear bombs at ready in case they are needed. I spoke 1st and in depth about our subs because they are our most lethal weapon and deterrent because they give us the most important advantage vs a near peer: time. They assure that we can put warheads on target before the brunt of any nuclear strike could reach US soil....meaning that we could annihilate any enemy even if they managed to launch a volley of ICBMs as a 1st strike, we could hopefully prevent further launches.

Nobody else on Earth has the quick strike capability to match our subs. While US casualties could be millions, or in a worst case all of humanity killed by a resulting "nuclear winter", I have zero doubt that China would be annihilated by our nuclear attacks entirely. Hopefully none of this ever happens and we can all live in peace and prosperity. I want my kids and eventual grandkids to enjoy their lives on Earth and in Heaven.

Snickers maker Apologizes to China for suggesting Taiwan is a country

The US-based candy giant that makes Snickers apologized to China on Friday for suggesting in an advertisement that Taiwan is a country.

Mars Wrigley had just launched a limited edition Snickers bar in the country and advised that the chocolate bar was only available in the countries of South Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan, according to a Reuters report.

Mars Wrigley then published an apology and said it had revised the language in its ad, according to the report.

Apple asks suppliers NOT to use 'made in Taiwan' label on products that come from the country and to follow China customs rules that they read 'Chinese Taipei' after Pelosi's visit escalated tensions

Technology giant Apple has warned suppliers shipping from Taiwan to ensure that they abide by strict Chinese custom regulations – banning them from saying 'Made in Taiwan'.

The company has asked their suppliers to follow China's long-standing rule that anything made in Taiwan has to be labeled as either 'Taiwan, China' or 'Chinese Taipei.'

The iPhone maker has now warned suppliers that the country has started enforcing their strict customs, so to ensure that they abide by them to prevent further issues.

It is beyond pathetic at this point.

The world better get ready in the future. A conflict between China and a coalition of the U.S., Japan, South Korea, Australia, and hopefully India will happen. China is hell-bent on global domination. A one China world.

And if this happens a global economic depression like has never been seen will happen. Mutually assured economic destruction.

No.

United States have everything they need from a resource standpoint to survive for 200 years without trading a single product.
Including oil.

We could single handed kick start a new economy with a stronger US dollar than before.

Oh I agree we can survive, but the job losses will be incredible. It will take years to start making small electronic components like resisters here. It will take years to pull a lot of the drug manufacturing back here. You might as well shut the doors on companies make circuit boards here for a while because all those little components come from China. We also ship a lot to China. A lot of farm goods and such. That goes away too.

Drug manufacturing should never have left American soil.
