China Thread

Kenya sure is compliant to China's wishes.

Its amazing what you can get accomplished if you are a country like China that is going around the world making mutually beneficial economic agreements with other countries vs the US gunboat diplomacy of sinking people into bankster debt or "liberating" them with a color revolution...

If the US got Kenya to forcibly extradite Mexicans to the US you'd lose your s***.

No instead China just buys up land to put in its own factories to be worked by their own nationals and demand they operate like they would back in China. These "deals" are good for a few people in charge and does nothing to help the locals. and all the promised infrastructure improvements are more of the "Soviet Illusions" where the roads run as far as the eye can see, then stop. The only economic improvements are for China.

I sometimes have to pause and contemplate what it must be like to hate my country and my fellow countrymen - and via extension, my own self apparently - as much as Ras seems to do so. Although I think him often irrational and biased, I can at least respect Pacer, because Pacer seems to still maintain a genuine love of his nation's past. His nostalgia and his disdain for the current era, however, just get in his way.

Ras, on the other hand, doesn't even seem to possess those traits, although he sometimes makes token gestures to our past. But given that he goes out of his way to denigrate the US (up to and including essentially blaming WWII on us, as he has done in the past), it's hard to see where he possesses any real, authentic sense of fondness for his country and for his fellow Americans. He sincerely hates us all, as well as nearly our entire history it seems.

I can't imagine what that must be like. On the one hand, it's incredibly pathetic, but, on the other, it's incredibly sad. That must be a miserable existence.

pay to read.

also for one who blames America for having a network of foreign bases you are awfully quick to forgive China doing the same thing.

What are you talking about? What network of foreign bases does China possess?

They operate at least the Atlantic port of the Panama Canal through a company wholly owned by the Chinese Military.

Ras , how do you feel about China building those islands near other countries like the Philipines and Vietnam?

Those islands, up to as recently as WWII were always recognized as islands/possessions of China. It wasn't until after Mao took over China that you started to see the US challenge this notion and encouraged the Philippines to take a few. Between China, The Philippines, Malaysia and Vietnam, I've read that China has only occupied around 9 of the 50+ plus islands/atolls. They are well within their rights to do what they want in THE SOUTH CHINA SEA!!! with these islands.

bull hockey. theres the 9 dash line memo. but China itself over rode that when they signed the international laws recognizing 12 miles as national waters, and that only real islands (not reefs covered in concrete) can count as claimed territory. again China is breaking the very laws it helped write.

and really you are going to use the name of the body of water as reasoning? India better start kicking some mofos out of their ocean then. Does Atlantic City own the Atlantic Ocean?
