Trump would press the button. Now we have people like Warren who wants the US to not use a first strike policy...

Why should we? And Trump was really only hostile towards China. For the most part he wanted the US to stay to ourselves. He was very much and isolationist. You know the whole "Build a wall between us and Mexico" sentiment. Let North Korea do what they want. Let President Duterte continue with his war on drugs in the Philippines that let cops terrorize who they want. He has never been preemptive strike type. Not really.

What do we have to gain by attacking China?? We bomb them and then nuclear fall out spreads to India AND Russia- two countries with an abundance of Nuclear Warheads..

Just my personal opinion, but his one Earth and shared humanity is an Earth controlled by China. Covid-19 has allowed China to regain footing and will overtake the US economically within the decade.

Some of the nicest people you could ever meet generally speaking. You'd never know they had plans to take over the world just 80 years before. USA changed their entire culture overnight...

Any body with a clue knows that China plans to destroy the US and take all global resources in the long haul. They have generals who are openly calling for war as we speak...it isnt a mystery.

That said, they have stolen pretty much every new technology is the last century from anyone and everyone...they could very well be wanting our DNA to test new biological and chemical weapons against our cells and see which are more effective...and looking for differences in our DNA and theirs hoping to find weapons that will kill us while not harming themselves....its really stupid to give our number 1 enemy our DNA for any reason.

Lying, stealing, cheating etc are the chinese way. We will have to fight them eventually...when they are sure we are weakened.

I highly doubt the resolve of a nation so fractured as our own to fight China. You think an entire generation of kids that was brought up to absolutely loathe the US and the white supremacy it was founded on... will go overseas and die for it?

The Chinese probably just haven't bribed the right people. Otherwise, I just gained some respect for Romania - hopefully for them they'll continue to tell the Chinese to go home.

The real story of the "Belt and Road" is the belt is like a noose around the neck and the road always leads straight to China. When the Chinese finish the project, they own the poor slobs who fell for it and suck them dry.
