For it to be irrational it would have to be arbitrary. I think people can have very good reasons to dislike other cultures. Further, having opinions on a culture at large doesn’t mean you feel that way towards all individuals.

Has anyone seen any information from the Chinese Communist party regarding the eating of bats, rats, dogs and cats (the chines do love eating cats), have they [the communist party] issued cooking alerts/ minimum cooking temp. etc.? If not it seems another virus could be coming out of Red China.

As I understand it, these viruses tend to come out of China because they have domesticated pigs. We can't get these diseases from birds but pigs can get them from ducks and then we get them from pigs.
