You know what... I can't argue against this point on a certain level. However, no matter how hard you try to spin it, eating rats is not remotely a 'civilized' behavior. But when Octomom has food stamps to feed her kids with, and 8 Big Macs cost 1/4 of what a bag of spinach costs, well... nature abhors a vacuum, and there is a big one right there. Maybe in a sense, Bloomberg is right. His policy was all AFU in trying to combat the problem however.

Has anyone seen any information from the Chinese Communist party regarding the eating of bats, rats, dogs and cats (the chines do love eating cats), have they [the communist party] issued cooking alerts/ minimum cooking temp. etc.? If not it seems another virus could be coming out of Red China.

I was thinking about this recently and maybe someone else has mentioned this but talk about a business taking a hit. All Chinese restaurants will take an economic beating here in America. I think the best they can hope for is other Asia people show more support and the government help. As a matter of fact, I would just close the doors and act like I'm doing it for the public good. I was thinking about this recently and maybe someone else has mentioned this but talk about a business taking a hit. All Chinese restaurants will take an economic beating here in America. Personally I like food from other ethnic backgrounds, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Indian, French etc. What is going to destroy the Chinese economy is the total removal of the Chinese industrial complex from the rest of the world. Over the next 20 years China won't control manufacturing, drugs or dominate the world in anything because they screwed up and threatened the US with a nasty virus and also threatened to withhold medicine while blaming the US for something they did. The Chinese just unleashed hell on their economy and I don't think they realize it yet. God bless Trump!

Me too but I won't be eating any Chinese any time soon. My last meal already looked a little weird and I threw most of the meat out.

There was a story not too long ago about a Chinese guy picking up a deer that had been hit by a car and he was followed back to his restaurant with it. He tried to say he was gonna keep it for himself.

I just think people are going to tie Corona and Chinese food, and fair or unfair with the concerns about some of their restaurants using illegal meat they will choose to pass on it especially in the short term.
