Then we're agreed both of us (along with what appears to be a strong plurality) get to question the .gov on the matter.

And "how effective" of what? A balloon? What exactly are we trying to glean from "Oh damn...the Chinese have developed the ability to attach tech to...balloons!" Maybe some Chinese guy can play Viktor Belenko and get one of them over to Japan where we can ascertain what's going on with this new balloon tech threat.

And my point is they sowed as well. You always seem to avoid falling anywhere other than the US on the wheel of blame. So much so that it's impossible by sheer chance alone, it's intentional......... And that's the point you can't seem to grasp or admit.

Maybe if we’re not really sure what it’s being used for we should consider finding out? Maybe?. I’m not sure what options are on the table. Presumably we’d like to take it pretty well intact, what electronic measures can we take to take it down or run it into a mountain or something? What’s the end game? Some of you have been saying this has been happening for decades, well why not try to take it down in one capacity or another? Why not change the precedent ? It’s not like Biden couldn’t actually use a foreign policy victory… for once in his illustrious political career. Regardless of whether it’s been happening during multiple administrations or not, this is the most public something like this has ever been made. Biden drew the short straw here. You simply cannot allow our biggest global threat have an aerial spy vehicle of any kind in United States airspace and not take some sort of action.
