Actually that's not new. Balloons have been used a long time for such things. We still use them ourselves.

Secondly, if we did such a thing, China wouldn't hesitate to shoot ours down. It is a violation of our air space.

again not all wars are fought with guns and soldiers on the front lines.

Lesson learned by Pearl Harbor and 9/11. Didn’t expect it to happen and it happened. What do you call it? Humanitarian aide

Yup. Espionage is as old as warfare. There is just one rule, don’t get caught. The Chinese purposely used a method with a 100% probability of getting caught. That begs the question „Why“. I think we all know the answer. It is to mock the weakness of the current administration.

Not an act of war. But it provocation that could lead to war. Biden needs to be firm on demanding answers and consequences.

We saw both of those coming and kinda expected it. No different than they saw this balloon coming from a long way away

I call it spying, espionage, etc. Happens every minute of every day from friend and foe. Happens to every citizen of this country from our govt.

Do we see both of them coming? History says we didn’t, end result says it happened. Spying, espionage but no big deal.

The response from the Pentagon that it may land on someone if they shoot it down is the most ridiculous statement they could have come out with. Progressives and more specifically this administration does not know how to handle challenging foreign affairs.
