Canada is saying they have a second balloon. It's not doing anything the chinese haven't been doing forever. It's watching and listening. The US does the same. If they can safely take it down without destroying anything on the ground, they will. As it is, it doesn't have any novel tech to be disseminated, and it's information you can get on google... so. It's best just to confront china about it ( China is urging calm), and when you can get to it, take it down.

They don’t know. Hell, truth be known it’s probably ours and our govt is blaming China. If it wasn’t ours it would’ve been shot down already.

If it is super sensitive spy equipment attached to a balloon, that's a pretty stupid plan. Secondly, we spy on China why shouldn't they spy on us?

I have no problem with them trying to spy, alls fair in love and spying. This time they’re caught and we should take it down.

The US also sends up spy balloons.

Hearing that the Chinese have been called to a meeting and tge US has monitoring planes circling it now.

It's best to make sure all it's doing is watching and listening. We know its there, so let it do it's thing and make sure it's what we think it is before taking it down over the ocean or something. Make sure it wasn't just an Arctic science balloon that went astray or something first.

If we are doing it, shoot it down. If we see another country invade, shoot it down. If we get caught doing it, we aren't very good at it either.
