To be fair, Oklahoma almost lost to Utah State, which we blew out this year. I'm also very aware this is a different year, so don't flame me.

Honestly, they haven't been tested this year either and AL didn't play like they cared to win.....so maybe they underestimate us and be caught off guard. I could certainly see us be hyped up and come out strong for the first half. I think that the team with the best halftime adjustments will be the one with the W at the end. One thing for certain though is that we will start to see just who we are after this game.

Maybe we haven't showed everything yet. Plus if we get a turnover on special teams or on defense you never know what might happen. I know its a long shot against the number 4 team in the nation at their place. The next two weeks will be tough at number 4 Oklahoma and number 3 Georgia. Go Vols.

I hope we do beat them, they claim they are going to embarrass the conference by blowing us out which is about the stupidest thing I've ever heard seeing as how we haven't been a threat in the conference in 10 years

Stoops & co. are not overlooking this game. He wants to embarrass an SEC team (remember his comments this summer?). If he can, he'll run up the score. I hope our offense is more efficient, so that our D isn't run ragged by the 3rd quarter.

This is what worries me

I think we could beat Kansas St., Texas Tech, or TCU....we have enough talent to do that. We can't turn the ball over and give then short fields to work with. With that being said I think this squad can hang for a while with them. If they are careless with the ball then this could be a very close game.

We shouldn't win don't get me wrong....but we have just as good a chance if not more based on talent than those 3 teams I named TCU lost by 3, Texas Tech lost by 8, and Kansas St. lost by 10 to them last year. Our team is bought in playing for broke for UT and the VolNation...we are much faster all over the field especially on defense and have more weapons on offense to stay in a game...just need to dink and dunk them with the quick pass/screen game and spread their defense out. We didn't use that part of our offense yesterday IMHO to work on our run game.

Be patient....smooth is fast....and let's hope our players mental fortitude is stronger than some of the fans on here.

they are going to wax us. They will absolutely stuff the run. They will play press man on our receivers, so we may have to complete a pass over 15 yards. They will absolutely get after worley and if the ol plays like it has in the first 2 games, peterman will be in by the 2nd half. If bajay doesn't change his scheme this week, we won't have over 200 yards total offense.

I do hope i'm wrong but sooners by at least 3-4 tds. They are just that much better than us.

Oklahoma beats Bama one time and they expect to be crowned champions of the world. Meanwhile I would imagine most OU fans would dismiss getting beat by Texas Tech, Texas Longhorns, Boise, and Florida to my recent memory. They had the same coach, won the Heisman trophy during that time and had wonderful recruiting, but still lost because of big game Bob.

I am sure OU will win, but one thing about Stoops is he is very emotional and if his team plays poor, he tends to go a little nutty and that is when they get hammered. That has to happen to happen.

No one's claiming OU is champ of the world. I take issue with the OP for being slanted. Especially considering you all lost to ****ing Vandy at home with a bowl game on the line last year.

I have been in OK 10 yrs and I haven't seen OU do thus to anyone but a mid major !
