Chris Benoit and his family found dead

Whatever came of Elizabeth's murder last year? I remember at one point Lex Lugar was a suspect but that's all I remember.

Lex Luger's mug shots in 2003 and 2005

On May 1, 2003, Luger's girlfriend, and former valet, Elizabeth Hulette, died in the townhouse they shared in Marietta, Georgia after mixing pills of hydrocodone, Alprazolam (Xanax), and anabolic steroids (testosterone and sazien) with vodka. Luger was arrested later that day after a search of the residence revealed a number of illicit controlled substances, including anabolic steroids, OxyContin, synthetic growth hormone, testosterone and Alprazolam. He was charged with 14 drug possession counts, 13 of them felonies. He was released the following day on a bail of $27,500 USD. Hulette's death was eventually ruled accidental. Luger pled guilty to the charges on February 3, 2005. He was given a $1,000 fine, sentenced to five years probation and required to submit to periodic drug testing.

Probably. I know I am always on Wiki accidentally updating profiles of people to say that they are dead.

Don't do that. They'll just pick them up and try to eat them.

Ahh...I see you've only tried throwing them at their heads. Now, I will grant you - their heads are a big target, inflated by their 80 or 90 national championships and pneumatically driven by their hot-rod coach Nick "The Snake" Saben. But, hitting a bammer in the head doesn't do any damage. You've got to aim for the kidney. They seem to like it because it turns their p*ss crimson.

Its very difficult for me to believe that they would air a tribute to him, knowing he had murdered his wife and child. I give them the benefit of the doubt, that they were not expecting that to be the case.

I don't. This is the same crew that didn't stop a pay per view after Owen Hart essentially died in the ring.

They aired the tribute 7 pm central time and that was long before the authorities ruled in a double murder suicide. They also wiped out all the Benoit merchandise. And for those who said that the WWE only cares about making money, why don't you explain why they cancelled a three hour special of RAW and sent the fans home?

If you don't think Vince & Co. knew what had happened before the authorities released the details, I have some quality Florida real estate you might be interested in purchasing. It's located in a wonderful new development called the Everglades. It's ready for occupancy now.

The text message Benoit sent to WWE employees should have given them a clue he had something to do with it. If he was "wanting" someone to stop him then he should have called 911 instead of texting the WWE.

P.S.: Hat, me and the gf have ben looking for some Florida oceanfront property....we just aren't happy with the time share we bought in Kansas.

I am utterly amazed at people still defending this decision. Assuming they did not know you still error on the side of caution. It is a pretty simple calculation.

Agreed. If you know they was killed in a wreck, fire or plane crash then it's safe to have a tribute. If some odd like they were all found dead in thier home then something should tell you foul play MIGHT HAVE been a serouis cause.

I started a new thread in the NFL forum about concussions. I think this issue could be relevant to Chris Benoit's mental condition.
