They're a c-USA team Kramer, if you expect them to have a top 20 SOS idk what to tell you lol. Nobody in the c-USA has a SOS better than 100, and southern miss who is the favorite has a SOS of 151, so not sure what you're point is.

OOC they played 3 top 50 RPI teams away from home, how many did tennessee play?

219th and people think shoring up defense is far more important.
219th. With a potential SEC poy. With 2 first team all SEC players, rebounding machines in maymon and Stokes. Slashers like jrich, mcrae and moore. Add Memphis' career leader in 3 pt % going back 30 years and a young pg that sees the floor as well as any pg in the SEC.

What's worse is that we get 40% of our misses by way of offensive rebounds.

The stat above shows me that we play way, way too slow. 68th in FG% is pretty damn good. It just doesn't make sense that we then are 219th in scoring. I'm sure our defensive numbers mirror that in we probably are top 100 in scoring defense but bottom third in def FG %.

We did turn him down under Hamilton. I do not think Hart will turn him down. Their is interest on our side in Marshall and I think that Hart will make the call to him. Marshall is an obtainable guy and he is willing to leave if the price is right.

His buyout is around 400-500,000 and he's a top 25 paid coach in a conference he owns in a place he loves. He got an extra 200,000 for assistants, an extra 15,000 (on top of the 20,000) for 20 win seasons and meeting NCAA academic minimums, and an extra 100,000 for his kids education. Why come to Tennessee and rebuild our program? He could do it but a lot wouldn't and it doesn't make that much sense to me. However, there is no way WSU can continue raising the bar on his salary. I'm not big into shocker athletics or know much about their school but I know they have fundraisers set to help get his salary. I'm sure other schools do it and it's a lot of private donations but how deep does WSU's boosters go?

I could see them revamping their schedule even more and playing more games at Intrust Arena. That's at least 10 or 20,000 more in revenue a game you would think.

Imo I think Hart will at the least gauge his interest in returning. Their is and has always been interest with Pearl to return to the Vols and a few have always held a open spot for him to return but those few will have to convince the board for his return. If all are in agreement then look for his return percentage to greatly increase
