Beck's NIL money likely only thing kept the backup from taking his spot. They will forget Beck's name by the end of 1 minute of of play in next years opener. Look for Stockton the next two years. Rashada would have to perfom at epic levels to leap frog him in spring practice. And he's two years behind Stockton in eligibiity, so unless he turns out to be the second coming, it's be stupid to waste Stockton. There’s always a chance. Gaston extended the lead while at QB vs MSU.
We need Lewis and Sampson to run hard and make critical 1st downs. Kitsleman, Staes, and Davis to block well and make critical catches.
Need Bru to keep making tough catches and we need some big plays from White and Thornton.
Defense will get after Beck. It’s the backup QB I’m worried about.
Because “traditional reporters” are worse nowadays.Yes-a buddy of Herbstreit if I recall correctly-that's how he got the gig. He was the "points spread dude" on the show. I guess he parlayed that into something bigger. Regardless, he's not a traditional sports reporter. I'm scratching my head as to why anybody pays attention to him, honestly. Contacts? Who knows.
But if you're a low-level sports media personality, you post anything that can get you clicks. He's no dummy-Vol Nation will get you clicks. But you will get more reliable info from people on this site.
Bear is chasing a story imo. He is speculating. Nobody told him Nico wasn’t playing. Someone inside confirmed Nico was in protocol. Any of us fans could have a 50-50 chance to guess right.
Absolutely, good point. The credibility of journalism right now is being critically re-evaluated and needs to be. I'm not sure who to read or who to trust.Because “traditional reporters” are worse nowadays.
