Warde Manuel (Michigan AD) is on the committee… how that happens, who knows… he’s 1 of 13 members… seems like a school in the past was in the running for a spot and their AD was on the committee, but recused himself when it came time for the final vote… but I could be remembering that wrong??

I don't have TV, so I catch the game on radio. Later, if posted by Freak, I'll watch the game video.

Frankly, the TV commentary is as shallow and incongruous as watching the game while listening to the Home Shopping Network.

You get SO MUCH MORE information from the radio broadcast! You always know who substituted for whom, what the call was, who's limping--plus all the offensive and defensive play calling factors that only those familiar with the program week-after-week would know.

By all means, if you're a Tennessee fan and the time-synch is manageable, enhance your viewing by listening to the Vol Radio Network's coverage.

Where i live the radio broadcast is two seconds ahead of the television broadcast so it works out.

Hell yes and amen for the above sentiment. I agree with you sir. I just think these talking heads have too much power and influence on the committee and people's thoughts. It almost feels depending on which fan base you are on, like watching CNN if you are a FOX guy. It's not right in my opinion.

Game Day brought Lee Corso out and wow, poor guy has a hard time putting a couple sentences together. Listen to the audio of Corso - could have sworn he accidentally said that Tennessee is going to lose, while picking us to be #3 in nation in two weeks. Time to retire Lee. Thanks for the memories

Aside from not hiring Schiano, Herbstreit has always been fair to TN. I recall a streak over several years he favored TN so often, sometimes heavily, only to see us lose (sometimes badly like against KSU) I wondered why he ever favored TN.

Aside from the ill-advised trailer park frenzy comment - when some TN fans were acting like trailer-trash and making threats over the Manning/Heisman debacle - I have no problem with Fowler.

I have a much greater problem with leftist/woke ESPN, period, and won't subscribe to them.

It is an identity builder. It will never be stopped. The Victim Olympics gives out diamond encrusted gold medals this year. Folks are working hard to "win" one...🎖
