Wondering same thing. I was contesting the point that Ark was beter job now based on winning tradition. Ark hasn't won much in more than a decade. So how does the guy's point hold up?

There are more than a couple of people in the UTAD who have the same opinion of Bruce Pearl I do. I'm quite sure if they got wind a change was imminent, they called Chris Low as soon as they finished dancing a celebratory jig.

Sorry, I don't spend much time in the basketball forum but I've somehow managed to grasp your general theory on Pearl. It confuses me.

He frustrates me sometimes too, but maybe I'm just too young and don't remember a time when Tennessee basketball was anything other than a distraction. Oh well, looks like you got your wish.

Hope you're as happy about it in a couple of years.

I was still on the fence about if this was really going to hapopen or not, but after reading this quote i think it's done

Guess Pearl's only choice now is to win the whole f***ing thing. Or at least beat Duke. That would triple Tennessee's Sweet 16 appearances since he showed up? Then on his way out, he can give everyone the finger. That's what I would do.

If Tobias and Hopson follow their coach out the door, I assume Pearl will take another crap school like Milwaukee back to the Sweet 16 before Tennessee gets there again. Hall and Maymon are the teams only bigs without Tobias. Unless you count Woolridge... I don't. BTW, should probably keep Hamilton so he can hold a gun to Jones and Ware's head. I'm not sure a new AD would be a big enough jerk to force a couple of 17 year olds to come play for a coach they've never met.

We'll see... I imagine this will end well though. Can't wait!

I don't think they let NAIA teams in the tournament last time I checked.
