you will be soundly disappointed when the Big fish don't bite when TN goes calling. We will NOT hire a big name coach.

This should not be news to anybody...... did you see the picture of the players in the paper on selection Sunday, they knew the era was coming to an end. Everybody knows except the Pearl homers who are in denial. Unfortunately, Pearl has brought this all on himself. He could have continued to be the king of the UT sports department for years to come, however……..it is now time to part ways.

Tell ya what, if CBP pulls off the Duke upset after Hamilton pulls this stunt, maybe we should do some "soul searching" of our own.

I don't understand how anyone can say that MH was forced to make this statement, that quite frankly does not make any sense from any standpoint. It is unacceptable that this could not wait until after UT had finished the NCAA tournament, MH has literally just fired himself.

Today has become a complete fiasco and is embarrasing for all parties involved including the fans. I never had a problem with MH and certainly never had voiced an opinion about him up until today, but he absolutely has failed the university with what has gone on today and I am disapointed to the point of anger.

At this point the only way we can save the program is get Scotty and Tobias to stay, otherwise next season will be a debacle and it will take even long to rebuild. I think the only way this is possible would be to hire an NBA coach of some sort that those kids would want to play for.

He didnt say that. He said that Pearl hasn't been fired, which is, by all accounts true. He's backtracking without actually doing so. His response has nothing to do with his previous comments regarding the future.

That is the problem. If he beats Duke it still does not matter. Bruce did it to himself. You would rather have wins and have a high chance that one day they will be taken away. Days after Pearl had a crying session saying he had learned his lesson, he breaks the ''bump'' rule and does not tell a soul. Sounds like someone I want to have coaching for UT.
