I'm glad UT kept Pearl, but I am anxious to see what he got out of Hamilton. If he got anywhere near $3 mil, then Hammy got robbed...

JZVOL you are absolutely right, my bad. Tennessee is as highly regarded in football as basketball. I can't count the number og times over the last 20 years I have heard a big time bb recruit say "I have always seen myself playing in orange". Actualy, we didn't like MJ's attitude, so we didn't offer and let him go to NC. I even heard Lebron was having a hard time choosing between playing in Ktown or going pro, but wasn't sure he could live up to the UT basketball standard. :crazy:

Pat's salary should have nothing to do with whatever any other coach at UT is paid. I do think she should be the highest paid womens basketball coach. I say make her contract pay her one dollar more than the highest paid womens coach whether that's $501 or $1,000,001. Her pay should be based on her sport and no other.
