Wanting upgraded locker rooms & a basketball only weight room is understandable to me. But wanting pay raises for his assitant coaches is just ridiculous! Those assitant coaches stink!!!

I continue to be shocked by the posts critical of Bruce Pearl and indirectly the Tennessee men's program. When he came here this program was one in decline and had been for years. No one noticed Tennessee basketball and no one cared about Tennessee basketball Tennessee could not attract enough people to TBA for a men's game to justify turning the lights on. Facilities were run down, there had been no interest in the men's game in years, TBA had never been filled to capacity for men's games since it was built except when Kentucky came to town and their fans purchased all the tickets.

Now fast forward, we have a coach being pursued by other schools, the newly renovated TBA is packed every game, the program is talked about all over the country, Tennessee has actually been ranked number 1 in all the polls and there is actually excitement about basketball in Tennessee. Yet we are subjected to these absolutely crazy posts telling Bruce Pearl to kiss off, we don't need him, don't pay him what the market demands along with a litany of other insane ramblings.

Where do these people have their heads...never mind, I think I know and its anatomically a difficult position for them.

Why, because Bruce Almighty is above criticism? I continue to be amazed by people who deify him.

List the schools pursuing him.

How about showing us some examples of the crazy post saying "Kiss off" and such? I think that you are exaggerating.

I give Pearl credit for getting the spark lit and a small flame. But he now needs to show he wants to be here and that the can take it to the next level. I also give him credit for getting fans and boosters excited aobut UT mens BB. I dont see us falling back to where we were even if he leaves. The fans and the boosters will not allow it. We have tasted a small amount of success and now we are hungry for a feast!
If he doesnt want to be here or tries to hold UT hostage for more $ then I say adios.

JMO and no I am not a big Lady Vol supporter but how can we pay Pearl more than Summit? He hasn't won anything. East Championships don't count! He has finished ahead of KY 4 years in a Row! WOW! Summit almost won 4 National Titles in a row. Just sayin. He doesn't deserve that kind of money. He is a great coach yes but not a top notch guy in the nation.

What else have we been able to cheer for in late march/early april? Give me a break about Pearl. I love him as our coach but he isn't God sent.

The number of UT fans who actually give a crap about women's basketball is wildly out of whack with what Summit is paid. She should take her disproportionate salary and not concern herself with what the men's basketball coach makes.

What would you do? Tell MH your not worth what he is paying you? Now as far as putting your 2 cents worth in on what the men's coach makes, is really none of her concern.
