I believe Jesus taught to "teach a man to fish" not to place fish on his table.

It's almost as if liberals are against education. That's right, liberals think that reeducation is a bad idea. They just want people to get aid without education for the rest of their life.

Right, it is biased but not towards to the left. Giving more weight to the disadvantaged is something liberals may do, but that does not mean that giving weight to the disadvantaged makes one liberal. Jesus taught to help the poor, but that doesn't make him a liberal.

continually representing the "disadvantaged" viewpoint is indeed liberal since the term itself is loaded. In a story involving a multinational corp and a 3rd world country, claiming the 3rd world country is "disadvantaged" because it is less "powerful" is clearly a liberal perspective. The truth is the 3rd world country may be disadvantaged in this particular relationship or it may be the one doing the disadvantaging! Assuming it is the one being wronged and reporting from that perspective simply because the big corp has more money or is capitalistic is clearly a liberal-biased perspective. NPR thrives on this type story. Ditto for the U.S. versus other countries.

If on the otherhand they simply reported both sides positions or sometimes took the voice of the big bad corporation I wouldn't consider them to have liberal bias. Let me know when they start.

These arguments are by their nature entirely anecdotal. In a sense that makes them worthless, but it's hard to call someone ignorant when they just hear different anecdotes than you.

Yes, because child support is counted as income. As someone who has personal experience with this, child support is a messy issue and there are lots of deadbeat dads who try to pull stuff like this to scare women away from taking them to court over not paying child support.

No excuse. I would rather pay for people to help her get money out of the worthless fathers than provide her a check. I would like to keep more than 60% of my money FOR MY KIDS

Well what would you have us do? Continue to let them roam the street, or try to help them with immediate assistance and education?

I would expect them to take control of their own lives and quit expecting someone to take care of them.

The real reason why this is true is because politicians (yes, including Republicans) have been cutting vet benefits for years.
