The only way we win is if Milton (or Nico) hits big downfield pass plays. Without that our running game will suffer hard against a very good defense that shut Michigan down.

We are ranked 39th out of 130 (total yards and yards per play) meaning we are in the top 3rd of all teams. So no I do not agree the defense sucked.

This is a great bowl for the Vols! More than I was expecting.

Not crazy about the matchup because we have seen it before not that long ago. UT could find it difficult to score, but all it takes is a couple breakout plays and Iowa will not be able to keep up. I see a 24-13 type UT victory.

Go Vols, and safe travels to all you lucky folks that are going!

Anyone upset by this is just weird. Best possible matchup. 8-4 in the Citrus Bowl shows a lot of respect for the bran that is Tennessee. We get the best possible non-NY6 bowl and a very beatable opponent, and one that is technically the runner up in the Big 10. Ending the season 9-4 is important and can’t think of a better situation out there to do that.
