CJH’s Blind loyalty/pure stubbornness is starting to concern me.

Hooker didn’t light it up when he got here. He grew into a solid QB. People forget in the Pitt game, Hooker cost us a TD and the win by not pulling the ball for a score…instead stuffed and turnover inside of 5 mins left in the game
Ok

Do you still think Joe should still be taking snaps?

You have to have a little bit of “intense a$$hole” in you as a coach, both on and off the field, to be great and win at the highest level in this day and age. Saban has it, Dabo has it, Kirby has it. Urban Meyer had it. Orgeron even had it. I haven’t seen that from CJH. The folksy “hope everybody’s doing good/have a great week” schpiel at his weekly press conferences is somewhat telling. We need him to have an edge about him on and off the field. I support him but have my doubts he’s going to take us to the promised land.

This is a very disturbing trend. It took a Milton injury for Hooker to even see the field back in 2021. We lost the Pitt game because of Heupel's blind loyalty to Milton. The 11 win season may have never happened last year if Milton hadn't gotten injured.

It seems like Heupel is great at developing QB's, but I question his actual team decision-making.

Hooker is to josh what Dobbs was to butch

HahahahahahahHahahaha

Yeah....

OR...OR....JOE MILTON is so dumb that we have to use a playbook with a grand total of about 6 passing plays this season....and also either overthrows, throws the ball at 106mph 10 feet off the ground like he JUST did again in the endzone on 4th down etc etc

If you really think CJH is the problem and not Joes dumbazz then youre about as smart as Joe with his room temperature level IQ. Lmao. Cheers man. Gotta be drunk

I would say at least we’re not Auburn but nah I’d rather lose to NMSU than not even trying against a rival

I’ve praised this coach since year 1 and think he has overachieved given the situation he walked into. And By no means am I calling for his head or anything but I’m starting to get a bad feeling in the gut. There’s no reason to keep trotting out Joe and there’s no reason Banks should still be employed. There’s no reason Wille should be employed. I’m afraid Josh is just a blindly loyal person and can’t make the hard decisions that’s needed to win in this business. This year coulda been another great year with a simple QB change maybe, maybe not. But you never tested those waters to find out. I’m afraid next year we will light it up with Nico just for a Tim Banks defense to blow a couple games for us.
Josh is playing grab ass with USC and Mizzou while getting handled by the 3 teams that matter. If he doesn’t win at least 10 next year, he’s not it.
