Does anybody in here really GAF that Cleveland changed their name? Cleveland hasn’t won a world series since the 1940s (72-year drought iirc). I know they have been close a few times. They were absolutely dreadful when I was growing up. Best thing about the Cleveland guardian Indians is the movie Major League. Attempt to Change my mind.

Guardians is a terrible name regardless. Rock would have been a good one since the Rock and Roll HOF is in Cleveland. The Fire for the river fire that ushered in the clean water act, hell damn near anything would be better than Guardians.
