Climate Change Report

This is an article about a redwood park being affected by wildfires:
California's oldest state park has been extensively damaged by wildfires
This is a quote from the article:
As a species, they have been around since the dinosaurs. They used to cover the Western United States as far east as Denver, but have shrunk back as a result of climate change, according to McClendon.
This is a quote from a far right website I found called the National Park Service:
By the 1960s, logging had consumed nearly 90 percent of all the original redwoods.
Why would you even try to pretend like climate change killed the redwoods? We cut them mfers down for sport.

Yep! All about power and money for the left. That's it.

Pretty much. Outside of the civil rights activities back in the 60s, I cannot think of another policy off the top of my head leftists support that does not eventually concentrate power in the central government.

True.

Nevertheless, I hope Elon Musk burns this company's employee base and company policies to the ground and starts over.

I think he brings in at least a couple top level people who are trustworthy. Then they start sniffing out the bad apples and get them out.

When states started suing the tobacco companies I said the companies should pull all product from those states. Oil companies should now heed that advice and stop supplying fossil fuels to the counties, cities and states filing these frivolous lawsuits against them.

I say that the oil companies give them what they want. Stop selling product in those states and cities and run ads on the local TV explaining why. Let the voters decide if they want to continue down that imbecilic road.

I love it.

Should those states and cities run competing ads that detail how much the communities have lost in tax revenue from subsidies provided to the fossil fuel industry over the last 100 years?

Did the government pay some of their bills or something?

Or it is like calling your standard deduction on your personal taxes a subsidy?

Yes, that would be great. I don't see why they aren't doing that on the daily.

Oh wait I do know why. The term subsidies is complete BS. Maybe you could explain some of the "subsidies" oil companies get.

I would think you'd want to run those commercials during election time when elected officials are running since it was government that gave them those subsidies.
