Honest question as I’m trying to understand why some folk’s think of climate change in their daily decisions, not inferring you do that, just I know someone who does and I want to be able to understand the mindset better. I know some folks that have become so frightened by some of the climate predictions that they talk of giving up their careers and moving towards the poles and homesteading some property so they can survive the food shortages that are coming. I really don’t know how to discuss the topic as they’re emotional about it and are 100% convinced there’s an impending apocalypse of shorts coming all because of CO2. For those of us with more trips around the sun, we remember the 10 straight days of 100+ degree weather the summer of 1980, the prediction of an impending ice age being predicted in the late 60’s, the ozone hole that was going to burn us all up, nuclear war drills in school (get under your desk). The generations before me lived through 2 world wars and the Cold War.

Life is precarious and uncertain, but the earth’s climate has ebbed and flowed forever. Folks historically move around and adapt. Living under a cloud of doom along with the isolation of many from Covid is really hammering some folk’s mental health it appears to me. Thanks

The best way to enact political change and get people to give up their rights is to scare the crap out them. Most recently, it was Covid and now they are trying to drum up monkeypox fear. The globalist have accelerated their 2030 Agenda. Their goal is to enslave humanity by generating fear and imposing restrictions on the populace like vaccines and carbon footprint trackers. "We will own nothing, and we will be happy".

Climate change is another tool in their arsenal. Plants take in the CO2 we exhale and in return, give off oxygen. It's all by design. I might be concerned with global warming if millions of acres of trees suddenly died world wide for some reason. But, that isn't happening. All the people living in fear just need to take a deep breath and relax. The geographical US isn't going to be consumed by the ocean.

The initiative is set "to encourage sustainable practices in the travel industry" and "tackle climate change and environmental damage")

You get all those jet settings Devos joiners to sign an agreement to reduce their carbon footprint by 100x, I’m in. Although, I can assure you my carbon footprint is 100 times smaller than the private jet they take everywhere they go. You are aiming far too low with request for responsibility.

This the same Al Gore that has a “carbon footprint” the size of a small manufacturing facility? You know, the one who invented the internet and was the inspiration for “Love Story”
