These reports are literally saying "The world is a lot smaller now and people are more mobile so when they have a weather issue they can invade our lands". That. Is. All.

See...Carlos..in the past..we could just let the Africans and the Chinese just starve due to poor crop harvests, drought, famine, war, etc...because they couldnt really leave. Now its easier..so your typical climate issues that plague everyone since the beginning of time become a security issue because these people do have mobility.

Hate to break it to you Mick but people like this chick, so called "scientists", have been sounding this bullsh!t alarm for literally 60+ years. NONE of it has come to fruition. Its pure fear mongering for the sake of fear mongering. Go read some of the early peer reviewed literature on climate change....you'll laugh your ass off. I bet you'll think its funny that they all thought we would have flying cars now to traverse the seas that consumed our land! HAHA

Don't try to give her too much credit, she just paddle boated somewhere or something with solar and batteries She's not a "scientist" but still smarter than you.

Don't know if anybody else saw it, but Three Mile Island Unit 1 is shutting down because the owners can produce power more cheaply with natural gas ... for now. Natural gas may be relatively clean, but it is still a hydrocarbon and when burned releases CO2.

I bet she is. I mean, she could be in school learning science and trying to become a productive member of society who can actually facilitate change with her knowledge and drive. But instead she is skipping school to angrily go bjork, bjork, bjork. So smart.

Most power is generated by natural gas, then coal. Hydroelectric is the largest "renewable" power producer.

A teenage girl in another country understands the very basic science of climate change. Not news, really.

That this is the kind of stuff that scares the crap out of conservatives these days is sad.

That the American left is so feckless that they are willing to hold this young autistic girl in front of them like a human shield instead of just coming up with some workable ideas based upon the science to move us forward is equally sad.

A lot of great ideas to address this would create jobs that would require Americans to learn new things, though.

We can't have that. Democrats hate jobs and Republicans hate learning.
