CNN vs Trump

It’s funny to me that your ilk now considers lying faster than someone can refute them an "own" or a "stand down".

It’s also funny every time a Republican of color gains any prominence he’s embraced in such a "Look! We’re not racist! We have a black guy!" way.

Worked out swell for Herman Cain.

So if Byron is the VP candidate, will he join Trump when he dines with neo-Nazis? Or will he be busy shaking white hands and kissing white babies?
It’s funny your ilk, every time a person of color speaks against the left they are “lying”. Donald was a democrat, he just left the ways of being told what to do.

Nice use of polite racism thinking a person of color can’t be a Republican.

She did as well. She mostly sat on her a** the days leading up the election. Trump was out there campaigning until the last minute.
I remember watching that last few weeks. A couple of things really suck with me. I remember a series of very contrived "reactions" to stupid stuff no one really cares about. Like a bunch of balloons dropping and her over the top "Captain Kirk" reaction to it. It was obvious to me she was staging photo ops for her B roll.

It was obvious she believed she was going to win, like it was bought and paid for. It was moments like that for people unsure about her that did her in. I didn't mind Clinton but despised her because of her reaction to "the other woman". She's a weak, pitiful woman IMO.

So conservative blacks are Uncle Toms?...You are worse than anything Trump portrays.
Not working out like he hoped. Can’t hide it sometimes, they don’t even know they are what they try to fight against.

I do feel compelled to remind you that I have consistently and continually identified Trump with almost every negative adjective I could muster without using direct profanity. I think I have even used most of the “d” ones such as disgusting and dishonourable. I may have overlooked “despicable” though but I will be glad to apply that one as well. So I think you are somewhat wide of the mark in identifying me as someone who overlooks Trump’s massive character flaws.
As to your other point, don’t worry, I am one of the conservatives working tirelessly to “dump” Trump as you admonish. I will wake up grinning from ear to ear the morning after he drops out of the race for the nomination. But I would be remiss if I failed to point out that, while you may dislike the alternative less from a character standpoint, you will absolutely detest them even even more than Trump for a policy standpoint. Be careful what you wish for. For if Trump is a problem to you because of his personality, he is even more so to us from an effectiveness standpoint. He is far too quixotic and undisciplined to bring about the true deep seated reform that this nation needs.
Plus, I just don’t like detestable (ah, there’s another good “d” one) bullies like Trump. I loved Reagan largely because he was a gentleman. You can fight your opponents rigorously while still being courteous and kind at the same time
Then we agree on quite a bit. And I said "or downplay" - which is the one that more aptly fits in your instance.

I said a hundred times that is was never about Trump's policies, it was about him being a horrendously despicable person.
Reagan was no Carter, but he was miles ahead of Trump.....and the Founder Father of Deficits.

80’s called, stop going back 40 years to validate. Obama was a wolfs in sheeps clothing, let’s stay current. Also remember your candidate was Hillary before you go the route of horrendously despicable person.

I haven’t seen the “d” word thrown around this much since my Childhood Saturday Mornings 😂

.... in a cabinet with constant turnover, Trump had many opportunities to fill positions. He had 4 different Chief's-of-Staff for f*** sake.

Average time for a Presidential Chief of Staff is 18 months...

Biden has already had two. Want to think about this one before posting?

A well educated black man has to be bought and paid for if he’s a Republican? Or is it that he is educated enough to stand down the MSM establishment that you don’t like?
Right. He's not a REAL black guy like Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton. So, he doesn't count.

CNN Boss told Donald Trump to 'have a good conversation and have fun' backstage before disastrous town hall: Chris Licht then Reprimanded Network's Media Reporter for being 'too emotional' in his reporting of the event

CNN CEO Chris Licht encouraged former President Donald Trump to 'have fun' in an exchange of words backstage before the start of Wednesday night's televised town hall event.

Trump promised Licht that he would boost CNN's ratings, to which Licht is said to have nodded before telling him to have 'a good conversation and have fun,' according to several eyewitness present at the broadcast at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire, reports The Guardian.

Trump's promise rang true with the Republican front-runner for the 2024 GOP nomination drawing in 3.3 million viewers - securing the cable network's highest viewing figures in the past two years.

Care to tell everyone what the Democratic Party had done for black people in the past 20 years?
last 20 years? Heck let’s talk about Andrew Jackson and the Trail of Tears, Slavery and the Civil War, the Ku Klux Klan, Margaret Sanger and eugenics, Bull Conner and the civil rights crackdowns. Born in racism, raised in racism, and growing old and senile still firmly planted in racism

There's some truth in your sentiment. Not going to lie.

But now what? Does that mean that Blacks should remain Democrats?

Are you nuts. The fact that he did say it and CNN didn't dream of firing him speaks highly of both.

Of course people have every right to never watch again. I wish someone at Fox would have had the balls to say "you have every right to never watch Fox again" when all of their stolen election lies came out.
