'24 CO OL Gage Ginther (Tennessee commit)

But why take either this early? Im still lost.

Maybe their evaluation isn't based on how many stars he has on X Recruiting site, but on their own evaluation. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Or, maybe they just think that having a couple developmental players on the roster, kids who aren't ready to start on Day 1 but have high ceilings and are willing to stick around and do the work w/out jumping into the portal in year 2 if they're not logging major minutes is a good thing. Sometimes you get more out of a less heralded Dylan Wiesman or Kendal Vickers then a Martavius French or Wanya Morris.

what did he say
He didn’t necessarily single him out, but shortly after his commitment he said something to the effect of “for some people it’s all about the money”. Not sure if it was a tweet or in a press conference, but Matt McChesney (former NFL OL that trains HS and college guys who works with Gage) was the one that said something about it on the Coach JB Show a few weeks back. He then bashed Deion for leaving Jackson State for money and flying around on a private jet

I'm sure if NIL had existed in Deion's college days, he'd have been pure of heart and playing solely for the love of the game.

One of my buddies played at Fl. State. He was on a recruiting visit Deion’s last year there. He was with the coach’s headed across the parking lot into the athletic facility. Deion was getting in his Porsche and yelled out to him. Hey white boy, don’t sign anything till they show you the money.

I hope he fails at Colorado. He annoys me so bad.
