AP said they measured his arms at 34” which is the length the NFL likes their tackles arms to be no less than.there's so much discussion about needing more "tackle bodies", well, 6'6" approaching 3 hundo....not sure about the wingspan, but that's a tackle body. get him developed the next couple years, keep bringing guys in here like this, or better, and we'll start having some depth again along the entirety of the OL. i think the only way you can be disappointed in any way shape or form about picking up a kid like this is if you, unrealistically, think he needs to be a contributor early.
There’s several of these (finished) types that portal from FCS or lower FBS programs and it never fails that the usual suspects pine over them and decry our “failure” if they go elsewhere…most recently Ajay Cornelius. Those are best case scenarios but hardly outliers in today’s football.
