Some are loser than others.
Well Cincy ended up blowing out Duke so........... Just remember the game is 60 minutes.

Wish this one had stayed in football forum. Has a legit chance at post of the off-season.
And you know the Vol world is upside down if I'm closer to BPV's position than the other side of the argument.
I think CBJ might be a diamond in the rough or a heavy smokescreen (see what I did there?). Harsh reality though - this February will probably have the single most impact on his tenure at UT followed closely by Feb 2014.
Did you actually watch the game or just look at the final score? The game was tied and Duke had the ball inside the 5 with about 1:30 to go and was trying to run the clock out and score for the win. Duke proceeded to fumble, and a couple plays later Cincy hit an 85 yard TD play to take the lead. Then Duke was moving the ball again out near midfield trying to tie the game when their QB got blindsided as he threw and the ball fell right into a lineman's hands who easily ran it back for the TD that sealed the game. Scoring two TD's in the final 45 seconds hardly constitutes a blowout.
The ending reminded me of more Kentucky game endings than I care to remember. Artists of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Here you go douche. Weeding barnacles out like you takes more than a pay site. Nothing short of napalm will do.
Nearly 30 Prattville football players commit on 2012 National Signing Day - MaxWire National Blog - MaxPreps
The funny thing about that LSU play, that I didn't even think of until I read it in the comments on YouTube when I looked it up, is that under today's rules the touchdown would have almost certainly been taken off the board because Henderson started celebrating about 10 yards before he scored.
That's a terrifying thought considering that we're currently hovering just inside the top 50 in recruiting. I knew the coaching change would hurt recruiting to some degree, but I never really imagined it would destroy this year's class the way it has. Still, I guess it's part of the price we have to pay to get rid of Dooley, so it's almost certainly worth it.
We still have a long way to go, but I think he has to show some indication he can recruit with the big boys in this league this year. I don't expect Top Five, but he has to give confidence that he will be a solid Top Ten recruiter when established. You've got to make a splash in your first two years in this league or you immediately become an also-ran. He's not recruiting for Cincinnati anymore. He's got to bring this class up 35 points this year IMHO.
If the retarded one eyed moron and sheep mod stay away, you're the dumbest sunshine sucker in the room. Congrats. You're also calling someone a girl on a chat board. How sad are you? Calling you stupid is appropriate and supportable. You don't get to prove anything about my gender and I don't get to prove you more of a moron, you freaking moron.Excellent grammar, goober.
Here's a tissue. I'm sorry Gruden isn't coming, you whining little girl.
So, according to the OP's 'logic', that means Jones is gonna win the National Title next year!
Hooray!
So I'm a douche because I want to see a list of the 29 Prattville players that you said signed D-1 in 2012? No I'm a douche because you know it isn't true and I called you on your ****. Your proof is a blog on Max Preps that doesn't include a list? According Rivals there were (9) D-1 signees from Prattville and that's only if you count South Alabama as a D-1 school. (1) Alabama, (1) Florida State, (1) Georgia Tech, (1) Kentucky, (1) Wake Forest, (1) Southern Miss, (3) South Alabama. There is a big difference between 9 and 29 wouldn't you say? Maybe there is a couple Rivals missed but there is absolutely no way that there were (29) or even close D-1 signees from Prattville HS.
The post-Gruden butthurt is strong with this one.
Your mommy is calling you, little girl. She says it's time to get off the 'puter.
Illvol- you asked for a list of coaches better fit in my opinion. I gave you that list and now you are asking again bc it didn't meet your own requirements.
Did Gruden, Gundy, strong, and fedora turn us down? Yes. If they werent potential coaches, they wouldn't have been offered. The fact that were called or interviewed before jones, answers your own question. Just so you don't ask again, the 4 were obviously better suited for the job, rather than jones.
So, with that said, yes, I would've rather had those 4 and possibly fulmer back before jones. Obviously it's not my call but it is my call not renew my season tickets or donation that I have done for 7 years. You can attack me for that choice if you would like, but it's my choice as I don't feel like wasting my hard earned money on a university that I feel isn't taking winning as seriously as Bama, lsu, Georgia, Florida, south Carolina, and dare I say vandy at his point.
You can probably buy my season tickets now for 300 apiece as that is what the university is doing to he thousands of season ticket holders that returned the option. It is your gain on cheap season tickets but the university's loss on the maximum amount they normally would get from myself and others.
I knew it wouldn't take long for an ignorant thread.
I don't believe I've attacked anyone in this thread or ever on here. I simply asked a question that I don't feel I've gotten an answer to. You said that those four were better suited for the job which I'm not agreeing with or disagreeing with. I don't know. Some had more experience, some didn't. I, however, am not completely sold on experience alone. There is so much more that goes into the hiring process that you or i will never know or understand.
The fact is, those four either did not want to leave the school they were at or the jobs they had for the money we were offering therefore they are not an option. Because if that, who else would you have preferred before Jones and why? That's not an attack, its a question directed to a person that is openly saying he is not satisfied with the hire we made.
You can say we should have gotten one if the other four but what would it have taken to change their minds and would that difference have been to much?
I don't even know if Gruden was ever offered and Gundy and Strong said no. I like Gundy but don't know that he would be better than Jones. He won A conference championship in a more favorable conference but what else would he have offered? What about Strong? He coaches in the same conference as Jones and has lost to Jones twice in three years. I'm sure everyone will have their preferences between those and Jones but I personally don't see many reasons that put them head and shoulders above him.
I just want to know since those three are out of the picture, or were at the time of Jones' hire, who you would have wanted ahead of him.[/]
Really? I'm sorry I mistook your compliment for a personal attack.:hi:
