I think he meant the opportunity at a historically, prestigious, tradition rich program was his dream job.

Didn't hear it and after Dooley I'd be fine if the guy had a speech impediment as long as he can actually win.

Winning sure would fix a lot of problems.

Here's the reality. Gruden was NEVER going to come. It didn't matter how much money was offered. The OGs had bad info plain and simple.

Gundy was just playing for a raise and to send notice to the AD and Pickens that he is the reason OSU is above decent right now. It wasn't a reality either.

They botched the Strong deal but was he really worth $4 mil? I don't think so. Jones has a better resume than Strong as HC and has the winning record head-to-head.

Now, you could argue that not enough options were explored but in the end there really wasn't that many exceptional coaches that were legitimately in play.

Bruin it was the coolest experience of my life attending the meet and greet and presser. Just amazing to be a part of it, my kids like seeing me on TV too. They didn't know I went and watched the presser with them and they were like Hey that's you!

Have a video of his speech to boosters and all us in the meet and greet that was great too!

Like some Coach Jones!

I have been impressed with about every aspect of him so far. Ashamed they didn't have a day or two to build PR. Would have been a wildly popular hire with a couple days of clips if him miked all over the Internet and news. Still will be imo, when he lands a few recruits, gets Tee, and gets this thing rolling. My excitement is at a 10/10!

My excitement equals yours. I am all in. Can't wait for the o/w game. I believe with all my heart that he wanted this job. His pc made me believe he wanted to be here and I respect that in a person. This is a good situation for mr. Jones and Tn.
Now or maybe we can get the kids out of Nashville and Memphis.
