I see Worley playing the season out. If CBJ were to make a change Peterman would slide in there to add a little mobility. However word is Worley is taking the bull by the horns and showing good leadership everything else CBJ is saying in the interview concerning pushing the QB's is coach speak. Jones is very careful in his wording during interviews. Almost forgot:IMOI agree with you, Dark. Though I hope and even believe Worley will prove more than just adequate, CBJ has his decision already. By the Oregon game, if JW has a Matt Simms quarter, we will see a more mobile NP in action. Unless JD has really been tearing it up with first team reps, he won't be put on the field. We might, however, see Pig and A.J. alternatively put in as a bona fide wildcat QBs who will be authorized to throw the ball on some plays. CBJ doesn't want JD broken because 2014, we will really need him to give us a fighting chance after graduating so many players to the pros.
^^^^^^^^^Man with intelligence. :salute:This shouldnt come as a surprise to anyone that has been following UT football. He is running a no huddle hurry up offense, which requires leaner, lighter, quicker lineman that can get down field and keep up the pace for 4 quarters. Look at Jone's last years Bearcat OL. Not one of them was over 300 lbs. This is going to be the silver lining in this year's team folks. We have a VERY talented offensive line that was put together to run your standard pro-style offense. Either they lose a lot of weight and get in shape to run this new offense or our OL is going to appear like they are underperforming next season. I personally love what Butch Jones is doing. His offense is going to be fun to watch. However, as I have posted ina few other threads, UT fans might not like the product this year, but give Jones time. He is doing a tremendous job of recruiting the kids he needs and will have his offense clicking on all cylinders year 2.
With all this being said, if these lineman perform well next season (and I think they can), then it will truly be a testament to Jones and our new strength and conditioning coach.
Do you think they will use Hill as the big back for 3rd downs and goal line stands?
