Every fanbase has this issue. Why some of the people on here can't see that, is beyond me.

It's no worse, and probably even milder than the Dooley stuff. I expected no less, but you have to accept that some people with internet access are going to post this stuff, yet would never say it out loud in public.

I am excited for CJ and am excited for T football again. The guy is a competitor and a great coach. I tell you what needs to happen; T needs to eliminate the football program for about 3-5 years to teach these Verucas a lesson. The problem is you can't beat your children anymore.

We have to accept this and move forward with undaunting support for our new coach. It may not be who we wanted, but it's who we have, so let's make the best out of this new day of Tennessee Football. If it makes you feel better, his agent used to play for Gruden in Oakland.

probably many from the Gruden thread. Those asshats in there caused a lot of this pent up anger with their bs.

What people don't realize is that the HC job here right now is a death sentence in the eyes of many coaches. How do you win in 3-4 years against the best coaches in the country with recruiting disadvantages. How do you leave a good position and take a risk that may mean you are looking for another job and will possibly have trouble getting one in 3 years.

That info came directly a dear old friend that is right in the middle of many of these discussions between coaches and their agents. Unless you have a coach that doesn't care or just wants the shot at money, we have had to twist arms just to get coaches to consider us.

I think the majority of fans are trashing the UT administration. Every fan base has a few bad apples who do dumb things. That doesn't mean all UT fans are rabid just a few just like everyone else.

Why blame this on the fan base? Saying our fans is the reason no one wants to come to Tennessee is foolish. If I was a coach at any level and had the opportunity to coach at a place that the fans will give you their all every weekend "if you win" I would sure as heck jump on the opportunity. Is it wrong for a fan base to hold the coach accountable and expect wins? That is what they are brought in to do. I realize bashing a coach before he even has a chance is ridiculous but I would not change our fans passion in no way shape or form. While I am on topic I did watch this fan base get behind the last two jokes and look what that got us.

Just take a peek at the rosters if you have trouble understanding these things. Dooley had 45+ 4 star players on that 2011 roster. Butch Jones had 4. I have no doubt in my mind Jones is the better football coach. Their resumes are not even close. Dooley has always lost. Jones has always won. It's not hard to understand. People looking for a reason to bitc* will bitc*. Jon Gruden was never coming and those who set themselves up thinking that deserve to make fools of themselves.

You guys cry like spoiled children who never got a spanking. I sure as hell wouldn't want to coach here. I would know better. There is a 85% chance you are going to wind up like dooley. The school needs to eliminate the football program altogether, then maybe these kids will appreciate it if it ever returns.

Oh, Now I understand. Hart thinks our righful place in the SEC is 4th in the east, behind Florida, Georgia and South Carolina! Guess in HIS opinion HE did make a good hire.

It is hard to be a UT fan now, not because of the performance of the team or AD, but because of the fans I have to cheer with. I am ashamed to call myself a UT fan because of these people

Leave the guy alone. It's not his fault.
You all need to just accept that we are Ole Miss now and move on. Might be fun to watch a season with lower expectations and no hope. Will make Music City Bowls feel awesome!
