It's easy to "get up" for a big game.

You have to find a motivator ,for the "small" ones.

Shouldn't need "motivators". The only motivator is to do your job. Players see straight through the manufactured motivational crap. Execute the plan = win. That is the only message - for big games and small.

I agree, you prep your team to win for the entire season. If not, the handwriting is on the wall. Every game is a BIG game until the dust clear.
