There is nothing vindictive about people making direct comparisons from one coach to the other in back to back seasons.

Truly, you’re the one that needs to get over it. Separate Kellie the LVFL from Kellie who couldn’t sign a high school recruit to save her job. Literally.

So you start another post to bump the thread up. Weird, almost as if you enjoy it. Could be the good piece of news is showing how the last staff underperformed and more are realizing it after tolerating it.

Well, for me her being fired was enough and I can enjoy CKC's successes without ranting and raving about the former coach.

I know you deeply believe Kellie deserves some grand cosmic punishment for only getting the team to a couple of sweet 16s but you are really just the mirror of image of another poster has been equally upset that Kellie was fired.

Anyway, you do you. Probably time for you to go down into your basement and beat on your Kellie Harper punch clown.

You know nothing.

She doesn’t command blanket immunity from scrutiny simply for having played at Tennessee though.

It is SPORTS, all former coaches get that treatment when they are fired. Hell people bring up football coaches from the 90s. It causes a type of PTSD and you can’t help but relive the trauma.

Ironically, you would have been great member of the "know nothing" party.

People may indeed bring up fired football coaches from the 90s, just like they may check their door lock a hundred times before leaving the house, or stalk old lovers, or believe that aliens are sending them secret messages through their dental fillings. People do all kinds of crazy crap and it is still crazy, pointless, counterproductive and it just creates bad energy, which is kind of your vibe.

I am putting the original poster of this thread on ignore so I never have to see this effing thing again. All anyone has to do to know it's not right to keep piling on a LVFL is to go back and look at that photo of her face during the most heartbreaking game of her coaching career. Anyone who thinks she hasn't suffered enough is a heartless ass.

Here's the facts, Caldwell's staff was given access to Volunteer Club money for recruiting, Harper's staff was not. Caldwell's standard NIL offer to top recruits is $250K, a car and a $20K travel allowance. Harper's best recruit, Rickea Jackson, didn't get half that. They lost numerous recruits due to lack of competitive NIL funds.

It's not fair to compare the results of recruiting between the coaching staffs for that reason alone.

Good for Coach Caldwell, but it's not right to slander Coach Harper and her staff, who did not have access to that kind of money.

Kellie had years of recruiting struggles before VC was established. If we are discussing facts.

If this is true, it would be interesting to know why things were done that way.

Was that a booster decision, an AD decision, a coach decision, a collective decision, or some combination?

This thread is why I'm not a fan of ex players being a Head Coach at the College they played for. Peyton Manning just as Kellie Harper is loved and cherished but if he was HC of the football team this fan base would turn on him in a New York Minute if he wasn't getting results they desired.

The Lady Vols have too much tradition to just be a R32 team or S16 every season, it's really sucks Knowing that clown up North bypassed Pat's number of NCAA Championship. Speaking for myself I truly believe the right move was made and yes it sucked that Kellie was a LAdy Vols treasure but AD Danny White done what he believed "What was best for business" and as of RIGHT now with a Top recruiting class and a new system there's more excitement in the air for the Lady Vols in the past 10 years.

As far as the NIL helping the recruiting this year, of course it has any individuals who denies that are lying to themselves. Although let's also admit the previous staff wasn't setting the World on fire WITH or WITHOUT the NIL.

So let's just put the past in the rearview mirror and move forward and get behind what CKC is doing so far and if she doesn't get the Job done then just fire her and start over.

P.S. when the spelling and grammar patrol come zooming in and complain about my grammar and spelling. My reply is I paid a 30 year mortgage off in 23 years and my essay writing skills didn't have a damn thing to do with it.😏 BTW Kellie Harper will be loved no matter how successful or unsuccessful she was at TENNESSEE as HC.
