We don’t know that she wasnt. The only source that alleges that was the case is Earl. The same source that alleged she would certainly get another year.

Not going back to look it up, but I believe Deerpark also stated TN lost out on several recruits because of lack of money.

My understanding was Pat wouldn't have selected anyone to replace herself that year bc she wanted to coach at least another year. Was alot of hurt around her being "chased out" by Hart befoe she was ready. Stories change so much ove the years you never know.

She wasn't able to coach another season. She was fading fastly.

The only reason a mid-major MIGHT take a chance is because they know a major will NOT steal her away!! She is a decent organizer, not a coach!!

She should work in an athletic department then.
