We have 3 more home games. If you want to see this legendary coach pacing the sideline in TBA, better do it now. Its a sad time for UT athletics. If able, please come out and show appreciation for the greatest college BB coach we have ever seen. Please dont ask for details, the important thing is to show Pat how much we appreciate and love her.
I'm gonna miss Coach Summitt. My prayers are definately with her. I hope that when she does leave the program, it won't be a forced resignation.
yeah, this will be her last year. sad, sad story. my mother-in-law passed on because of this terrible disease. let's hope we go outside of the vol community to hire next year's coach. the ones there now just will not be able to get it done. if they are retained the ladies will be a .500 team every year. the talent level will drop without a BIG name coach coming here. =god bless you, pat !!! GBO !!!

My wife and I are taking off work and driving approximately 1,300 miles to take our daughters to the last game vs Florida. My daughters, aged 3 & 5, will not immediately understand the meaningfulness of seeing Pat coach, but in the long run this is a priceless occasion.
It is a very sad time for Tennessee. Pat Summitt is not only the best coach ever, she is an equally great person. She has been the leader for women's basketball advancement because she not only demanded 100% of herself and her program, but she also unselfishly helped the sport in every way she could.
There will not be another Pat Summitt, and we have her. She has given so much to UT, and our entire state, and she will be in our hearts forever.
God bless you, Pat. Thank you for all you have done.
