I think the question we need to ask is what does it mean to rebuild a program? Maybe our philosopher posters can help us discover the true meaning of this concept. I always thought that it was morally reprehensible for a 5 year old girl to marry a 50 year old man, but apparently some of our more esteemed posters have discovered that it is not the case.
Bruce would still be our coach if he just didn't lie. He brought upon himself. I just hope he doesn't land a job in the SEC. I wish him the best. He is a great coach and love to have him back. It will not happen though.
100% agree with you. Pearl was a good coach but he lied and tried to get away with it. UT has got to move on; for better or worse with Martin. If Martin fails, then we get yet another coach. Too bad we have to go this route but it was all dictated when Pearl chose to break the rules and then lie about it when caught. Nice to see him give to the community at least.

A coach with common sense would have realized that he was caught and not lie in the first place. Fessing up or apologizing after you had been caught shows no virtue or integrity.
I agree but can I ask you a question? What's worse in your opinion: lying and immediately fessing up or lying and continue to lie about a certain event and then get caught a while later like Tressell??
It's just a question that I would like your opinion.

Actually 2 days later not 3 weeks. I'll dig up the link. Bare with me
