Coach Prime

I don’t get why Prime makes people so emotional. People get less mad about Sandusky and Urban

I think a good bit of it is the constant, unending exposure the media gives him. You can't turn around without having to hear about "Coach Prime this" or "Coach Prime that." It's a nonstop stream of running Deion Sanders commentary. Specials on ESPN; the entire frontpage of ESPN's college football site is nothing but Colorado content right now. Hell, the AFLAC commercial during the Tennessee game had -- who else? -- Nick Saban ... and "Coach Prime" It's an all-out media blitz to make him the big story, which, if you already don't like the guy, well, tough, they're gonna tell you about him anyway. And a lot of the sports media are 100% bona fide simps for the guy, so ... buckle up.

They’re not good, so how about you stfu. Go slob on Deion some more and I’ll look forward to you crying at the end of the year when he doesn’t win it all.
Lol, the bar is winning it all your first year at a school that went 1-11 last year? Looks like the person with an inflated view of Coach Prime is you, pal.

The entire country new they shouldn’t have been in the playoffs. Well obviously everyone but you. But whatever you say
😂 It’s “knew.” We’ll agree to disagree. I have friends who are fans of both TCU and Colorado. I was rooting for the Frogs in the playoffs last year and for the Buffs today. Good day to you, sir.

65-7 in the NC game, but keep thinking they belonged making it out of a crap conference.
So? Colorado was the worst power 5 team in the country. Just because TCU aren’t on the level of SEC programs doesn’t mean it isn’t impressive. Colorado was as close to a dead on arrival program before he got there.

You have nowhere to go but up when you win 1 game. Look back throughout college football at how many teams have improved over 1 win. TCU is not a world beater.

Spell check is obviously not a friend of mine. I wasn’t rooting for either team, & i had no issues with Sanders before, but he acted like as ass in his post game presser

No but considering where Colorado was, The way they won was impressive. Talent in the other conferences isn’t on the SECs level, but neither is Colorado from top to bottom.

He put together a roster with turnover like we’ve never seen before and Goes out and beats a solid Big XII program (that doesn’t compare them to a solid SEC program, but that means nothing).

He put together a roster of kids that he poached and already knew how to play football. He’s not a terrible coach, but he hasn’t changed the college football landscape either like a few believe.

Well when it’s an entirely new team it’s not like he developed the “scrubs” he inherited. He may be a good coach and I’m fine with giving him props for that but the way he handled the former players and insulted them from the get-go was unnecessary; especially filming it and allowing it to get out to the public. Dress someone down in the confines of the “locker room” is one thing but letting the world see it and promoting it is extreme arrogance.
He's extremely arrogant. I can't stand arrogant ass people , but he instantly upgraded that team from lifeless to a bunch you gotta take seriously in 1 off season . That's just impressive.

He's clearly made Colorado better. Not sure what exactly that means at this point, but he is better than what they had.

The game changer is that a coach game in and effectively replaced the existing team with his players and had success. Effectively 90% of the team was cut. This may become more of a trend in the future.

I think very few coaches have the charisma and probably NIL backing that Prime brought to completely clean house and be successful. I don't think we'll ever see that again.

And I'll give him credit for the win that he wasn't supposed to get. Few teams come out on opening day a 20 point dog and win. It's a good win if folks will look at it honestly instead of just hating Prime's personality.

I still question that his seemingly loose coaching style, his "player's coach" mentality can maintain the discipline needed to COACH successfully.

It was a good win but now he's got to corral a bunch of kids who may think "we got this" when the season just began. I've seen the Prime side, but now let's see the Coach side.
