I’ve never liked the the show that comes with Deion and certainly don’t want to have to listen to the media worship all year. But, objectively, I always respected what he could do as an athlete and now as a coach.

Perhaps but the showboat antics to me outweigh the upside. I've been reading all of this ridiculous speculation that Florida might try to hire him. I think there'd be a revolt amongst the alumni so loud that it would never happen.

He does sound like a lot of current NFL players.
That will have a sort of appeal with some recruits and players.
He is what he is.
He knows how to milk the media, and the media knows how to milk him.
Glad I haven't watched College Gameday and those types of shows since 2017.

I've avoided this topic. All I will say is Deon is being set up to fail. As soon as they lose a game all those supporters will turn on him.

That is what you should expect with such an inordinately high number of transfers in their first semester at a school.

.... but I suppose you would like to think that it's because Deion is emphasizing academics? Or perhaps tutoring some of his players in their English Literature coursework?

Prime is the only coach who will be capable of maintaining the old Bama/current UGA 3-4 deep positions of 4-5 stars in the NIL and transfer era. This will be whenever he lands at the next level. Guaranteed natty in 5 years or less for whoever hires him.

^^^^ I think "Somebody like Colorado" is actually more interesting than "Somebody like Nebraska". I think what needed to happen already did.

He'll certainly be getting a raise sometime, but it may be to go into a less interesting situation.
