Said the exact same thing. Unless he is fired for something, he will have them in the top 25 quickly if not sniffing the playoff when it expands. The man has confidence and players love it.
We will see how he does. Colorado can’t compete with larger schools NIL deals but his confidence makes up for a lot. He had the number 1 recruit commit to Jackson st. That place is a dump. I think he will do more than most think he will. More eyes will be on this program than Jackson st and he better mind his p’s and Q’s when it comes to recruiting violations. I just like his confidence and saying what he wants all the time.Well, the players in the CU room didn't seem to me like they were loving it. Then again, they were 1-11, so...
I think he's overplayed his hand. He'd have been better served waiting on a G5 team in the southeast that he could step in to and play to his natural strengths. He has no recruiting footprint out west. No relationships. No nothing. Just his name. He's the hot topic right now, but the hot seat awaits him in 2 years if he doesn't produce.
He pushed all his chips in, and he has a low pair at best at CU. If he can get them to 8-4 in 3 years, he's done something.
I hope he can recruit lights out, and pluck the best the portal can offer, because otherwise he's toast in 3 years max. If he can't get a top-shelf staff, and recruit, and produce, then the PrimeTime brand is about to take a serious hit in Colorado.
I don't know what the over is, but at this point I'd take the under. I think PT has over-estimated his abilities, and his brand is about to pay the price,
Either way, he'll end up with money in the bank.
Go Vols.
But his deal with Hunter was why not a HBCU? He sold the idea of being part of history and the future. The sell is going to be harder to Colorado. We will see how he does. I highly doubt it, Colorado isn't Alabama and not many players want to go play in a super cold place like that...He'll be either fired or take another job when his seat gets a little warm in a few years.the PORTAL! He will single handedly make them change this stupid rule.
Have you seen the Texas A&M list leaving...
Lining up for Prime Time. Auburn Boosters you are idiots!
I agree Colorado is a tough sale. I wouldn’t want to be there in that cold ass place but the only destination I would want would be the Vols. pretty sure that kid is following him there at least the post I seen suggested he was.But his deal with Hunter was why not a HBCU? I just hope he took out some of that Aflac insurance, the way he’s hobbling around he might need it.I'm more pessimistic and think Prime Time wont be able to turn the dead Colorado program around. I think Deion will probably in my opinion be let go by Colorado in December 2026 and he will rebound by getting a HBC or FCS head coaching job.
