Coach Sanders is going to kill.....

I think he’ll turn them into a perennial 7 - 9 win type of team, assuming he’s there for awhile. He’ll make them good, just not good enough to overstep USC, Oregon, or Utah.
If they become good after a while he has to be thinking about the FSU head coaching job if Mike Norvell moves on to another college football head coaching job or an NFL job.

Doubters should watch his initial introduction to the Colorado Players. Anyone watching that who doesn't get fired up is Portal Material. Watch it! "No Earrings, No Hoodies and No cell phones in my meetings". "WE are going to try to make you quit." "How can I invest in you when you aren't invested in yourself?" Just watch it. Within 3 years, Colorado will be top 25. Hard work & Old school discipline still works in everything .[/QUOTE
I dont think it will take 3 years, he's gonna recruit like crazy

Colorado took the “quick fix” route hiring Deon. They don’t have the deep desire financially to win big. A lot will look at CU but they’ll go where there’s $.

Would love to see Colorado and Utah get in the Big 12. Throw Nebraska in there too now that Texas is gone. I know Nebraska would never leave the $ of the B1G, but Nebraska vs Colorado used to be a lot of fun.
Totally agree. Throw Mizzou into that mix as well. They wouldn't leave the $ and stability of the SEC, but it would be a better fit.

Colorado literally bought Deion on credit.

They going to have to have a BIG bake sale if they want to switch conferences again.

Don’t get me wrong. I think Deion can pull some talent. If they can get some money flowing he might be able to do something.
Agree. I found it interesting that the AD admitted they don't have the money "yet" for Coach Prime. I am not really sure what to make of it all.

LOL at "bake" sale & Colorado

You do realize he's had 2 toes amputated on his left foot. Big and second toe, I'd probably be hobbling around after that too.
I do realize that. Doesn’t matter why , he’s hobbling just the same.
May get worse until he can’t coach.
But I guess you don’t recognize a joke,
I’m sure he’s probably going to be financially ok if he can’t.

I did not know that. Just read up on it, pretty scary situation for him. He could still probably outrun some of these college kids.

NEW OC that runs a hurry UP offense at 5700 ft. You better be in shape when you travel to Boulder. The Winter Workouts are gonna be hell in Boulder. And yes I have NO idea of how successful he will be, I just want it to GO well for them and FREEZE bomb like I think he will!!

Is Deion really that good of a coach? I honestly don’t know . That’s a serious question. What do his teams look like? What’s their identity?

FSU told him thanks but no thanks. Does anyone here think Auburn should have hired him instead of Freeze?

FSU can’t really fire Norvel the way he finished the year. They’ll also be a hot team coming into next year . If Deion wants the FSU job he’s going to need to do big things in Boulder, especially after USC and UCLA are gone.

I'm more pessimistic and think Prime Time wont be able to turn the dead Colorado program around. I think Deion will probably in my opinion be let go by Colorado in December 2026 and he will rebound by getting a HBC or FCS head coaching job.
Have you seen the road games on their schedule next year?
@ TCU
@ Oregon
@ UCLA
@ Utah
@ Washington State
That’s brutal, especially for a team that gave up 40+ in all but 1 game this year.

If I was a top recruit, would I really brace for brutal winters just to play for a cool coach? Me being from California has absolutely nothing to do with the question...........

I highly doubt it, Colorado isn't Alabama and not many players want to go play in a super cold place like that...

The Winter Workouts are gonna be hell in Boulder.

I had the same thoughts when I was transferred to live in Denver and work in Boulder 12 years ago.

I know I am going to sound like I work for the local chamber of commerce but these stereotypes of CO climate are way off. The Front Range is simply amazing during the winter season. 300 days of sun per year, median temps Nov-Feb are 49 high/25 low. There are prob 2 or 3 times per season that the temp gets down to single digits for 3 or 4 nights in a row. And there is also one whopper of a snowstorm every 2-3 years dropping a foot that stays for a week while the temps go negative.

But for the most part--being a high prairie desert with low humidity, clear skies, and elevation--45 degrees in Boulder feels nothing like 45 degrees of bone chilling cold in overcast high humidity Atlanta where I moved from.

The stadium is great, the coeds are hot, the atmosphere is hip, the education is top notch, and the fan base is aching for football success. I think Dion does well.

My concern is culture. Does Neon Dion's schtick get old in high-brow Communist Republic of Boulder before he can demonstrate success?

Why do you call it Schtick?? I wish more Coaches had that Schtick. Freeze has some Schtick..........and Dollar Bills.

Cold Yes.....but with the OC they hired........running the Run&'Gun at that altitude may work......depends on the teams workouts off season.....I dont think that will be an issue either.

the PORTAL! He will single handedly make them change this stupid rule.
Have you seen the Texas A&M list leaving...
Lining up for Prime Time. Auburn Boosters you are idiots!

Thought you was talking about Ol"Randy.......🤪😂

You can question Prime all you want, but one thing he does so well is that he allows these players to be themselves while being held accountable. Prime also relates to each and every player and creates a fun atmosphere. Jackson State was a complete **** hole before he got there and look what he's done. I know the difference between FCS and FBS is a huge gap, but I feel like he's going to return Colorado to the 90's.
He used his celebrity status to recruit DI kids to DII (he had a 5* kid at broke FCS school)and they pretty much just out talented everyone. Now, everyone is DI kids. That talent gap just went bye bye for good. His lack of coaching ability is going to shine bright fast. Gone by year two unless his ego gets him axed first when things go horribly bad from the start.
